Now all we need is some tiberium in the game and it shall be complete.
Altzan260 2 Jan, 2018 @ 6:54am
Ah ok...
BlackArmor  [author] 1 Jan, 2018 @ 8:55pm
It's a unit from a game that I modeled the bomber after
Altzan260 1 Jan, 2018 @ 11:06am
What is that last picture??

HOLY SHI C&C

Sorry, last edutainment comment, I swear...

That's because the designers at Westwood(And Blizzard) were all very big into sci-fi. Both companies traded staff and and shared an appreciation for the Alien franchise.
Superspartan117 17 Apr, 2017 @ 2:09pm
Reminds me of the Aiens (Alien 2) drop ship.
Jeffman12 16 Apr, 2017 @ 10:14pm
I believe in that context it's Brotherhood of Nod. It isn't an acronym.

Kane lives in death.
Gravemind 16 Apr, 2017 @ 8:14pm
Brotherhood of NOD for life.
Juice Miginty 16 Apr, 2017 @ 7:37pm
lol cool
Jeffman12 16 Apr, 2017 @ 7:26pm
Only issue I have with this is that the one in TS was for dealing heavy damage to fortified positions, whereas this is literrally designed to pelt things with rocks.

I think bomblets, even small ship based ones, would probably take too many blocks to be pheasible.

As for the banshee?
Probably not, your assessment that it wouldn't survive the transition is fair.
But! Its successor, the Vertigo, might.
BlackArmor  [author] 16 Apr, 2017 @ 6:39pm
@Purple Chapter
Thank you

@Sullivas
Have tested, doesn't work
Wygos 16 Apr, 2017 @ 3:41pm
Simple yet nice
Sullivas 16 Apr, 2017 @ 2:01pm
@TheFutureGamer You make make it drop explosives, they would probrably explode on impact. Haven't tested, might work.
BlackArmor  [author] 16 Apr, 2017 @ 11:08am
@^1MM|^0Dragfire
Aha, that makes sense. Thank you very much
Dragfire 16 Apr, 2017 @ 5:10am
Hey BlackArmor, First off nice build have messed around with Ejectors for bombers myself a couple times. The Thing with the Sorters only loading one ejector is a creative thing, if you rolled over to survival they would fill all the ejectors since the inventory space and mass limitation is in use,
RangeRunner 15 Apr, 2017 @ 10:23pm
i dont like the idia of dropping stone with a bomber, it feels abit too barbarion
but still a very good desighn
BlackArmor  [author] 13 Apr, 2017 @ 10:56am
@Ivo Robotnik
It doesn't look like it will transfer well into SE
Ivo Robotnik 13 Apr, 2017 @ 10:20am
How about NOD's Banshee?
BlackArmor  [author] 12 Apr, 2017 @ 10:51pm
I generally build based on whatever ideas come to me or if a model catches my eye. I wanted to make a small bomber firstly, and this was the nicest looking model I came across that could also transfer well into SE. The walkers are a little boxy for my taste.
Silent Ambassador/Baron 12 Apr, 2017 @ 8:21pm
Do you have plans for more of the GDI line? such as their walkers? Also, really well done design!
Metavamp 12 Apr, 2017 @ 6:11pm
Would TIM inventory script help distribute?, name the ejectors with a TIM tag?
Ivo Robotnik 12 Apr, 2017 @ 1:33pm
Oh man, I love Tiberian Sun units.
JCapt 11 Apr, 2017 @ 6:09pm
Hm... that sucks
BlackArmor  [author] 11 Apr, 2017 @ 2:59pm
@Lord Wraith
Thank you, would enjoy watching one :)

@Son, 5URG3
Have tried using sorters, what happens is all the stone gets pushed into one ejector and then never comes out.
Lord Wraith SOL3 11 Apr, 2017 @ 2:33pm
I feel a review coming on LOL :steamhappy:
Lord Wraith SOL3 11 Apr, 2017 @ 2:24pm
nicely done bud, very nice, loving the video too, well done to ACG-_-R4G3 as well :steamhappy:
5URG3 11 Apr, 2017 @ 2:19pm
Have you tried using conveyor sorters set to drain all to auto push stone/ingots to the ejectors? It might be bugged now for all I know, but it used to work.
JCapt 11 Apr, 2017 @ 2:15pm
Looks good!

Have you tried using a conveyer sorter to fix refilling the connectors?
BlackArmor  [author] 11 Apr, 2017 @ 11:26am
They were terminal I'm sure, I let them drop from like a kilometer above the target :D
Quartofel 11 Apr, 2017 @ 11:26am
Interesting... What was the impact speed? I'm using speed mod on daily basis, so maybe that's the catch.
BlackArmor  [author] 11 Apr, 2017 @ 11:25am
I'll try out the bounce frequency now that you mention that, could be a difference there.
BlackArmor  [author] 11 Apr, 2017 @ 11:23am
@Quartofel
Side by side drop test of 1350kg iron ingot and 1350kg stone ore onto a solid chunk of heavy armor yielded these results:

Very similar hole
Very similar damage spread
Same penetration 6 blocks deep.

I don't think there is any difference
Quartofel 11 Apr, 2017 @ 11:22am
I understand that completely.

During my tests with Ore/Ingot Canon tests ingots tend to less frequently bounce off harmlessly (airtight hangar doors are mortal enemy of stone) and have better armor penetration.
Well, finally, you're uncapable of bad builds man. Always glad to see your releases.
Deathlok-L17 11 Apr, 2017 @ 11:18am
nice man!
BlackArmor  [author] 11 Apr, 2017 @ 11:02am
@Quartofel
I'll have to validate that for myself. As for the decoys, there is already a pair on the craft, I wouldn't want to mess up the look of the tail by sticking them back there. Thanks
Quartofel 11 Apr, 2017 @ 10:26am
Protip: Use Iron Ingots instead, quite common material, much more destruction. People like destruction. Also, you could put a pair of decoys on the tail tips.
Really noice design!
Aerolfos 11 Apr, 2017 @ 10:02am
C&C! Woo!

They do have some really great aircraft to replicate.
Dr. Distortion 11 Apr, 2017 @ 9:12am
A great alternative to your last bomber, I love the reloadable bombing system on this one. Another good job man!
