this is a good mod, but nothing is better than The White Dire-Wolf Feralis. go check him out in the "Rideable Direwolf" mod

In screenshots you show that it's white wolf, but it's not. Why? Can you fix it?

Is Roxy essential?

I got give a dog a home but when I got it the dog was meeko not roxy. But if I look on the map it said Roxy's shack. Please help.

@Xainmystical_mc: She'll usually be by the road, before you first find her. If you really can't find her, open the console (~ key), and enter "player.moveto 000d95EA", and that will take you to her

This one is in Meeko's shack? The same shack? Just wanted to make sure, I treid another Meeko to German Shepard mod that just did not work. I would so love a wold/dog/whatever than can change behavior..dogs in Skyrim bark too much

oh i just realised theres more than one stray dog and they travle, i'm not ordering anything but i think it would be better if u made another wolf dog follower and not change any vanilla dogs? i dont know its up to u to even make the mod im requesting.

@sixtiesgirl: Thank you for uploading the screenshot. The eye-bulging bug's been here the entire time, but I've never noticed it. Skyrim's wolf's "trotting" animation is broken, and has the eyes set too far forward; it's not a problem in my mod. I've fixed it with a workaround (editing the model so that eyes can't move; this also means the eyes can't look around, but I'm not sure that the wolves did that anyways, so it shouldn't be noticeable), but I hope I can fix the animation itself if/when I know how.

Anyhoo, that will be uploaded soon, and I can definitely make another wolf follower mod for Stray Dog.

could u make one for Stray Dog? make him a wolf? u already made a white wolf, and a ice wolf, why not another? i would greatly appreciat it.

its hard to explain, all wolves eyes bug, just setrace any of ur followers and walk backward and you'll realise their eyes bulg.

@Mega-Lobster: I haven't tested, but I don't see any reason why it shoudn't work. If it doesn't, try the "Compatibility Edition"

@sixtiesgirl: What do you mean by eyes bulging? can you take a screenshot?

@Heyos1: Are you sure that it's this mod that's causing the problem? Disable it to check if that fixes it, and look at any other mods that may alter Meeko

@K Tizzle: That's very odd. It could be that steam "updated" your copy of the mod, since it was different. If that is the case, then the name will be Roxy in roxy.esp as well, and you'll just need to unsubscribe to keep the name as Shep ( I consider this to be the final version anyways, but I'll remember to comment on your profile to tell you if I make any updates)

No but for some reason The dogs name went back to roxy.

@(S&B)K Tizzle: You can't change it in-game, but with the creation kit, which you can download from the "tools" section of your library, it's easy to do!
Go to File>Data and select "Roxy.esp" , making sure it's the active file.
After a little while, it will load (hit "yes to all" on the warning box; the errors are in Skyrim's files, not my mod).
Then, put "dunPOITundraMarshDog" in the filter on the left, and select "All" on the menu-thing below it.
Out of the six or so options that show up, the top one should be the Actor Base, and you can just put "Shep" in the name box when you open it.

I have a dog just like this he's a white German Shepard named Shep, is there anyway to change the name of the follower?

@trolollo78: Roxy/Meeko usually doesn't wait in the shack; you'll find her waiting by the road south of it (the road that leads East from Dragon's Bridge), and she'll run to the shack when you approach her.

If she's disappeared somewhere, open up the console with the tilde key (~) and type:
player.moveto 000D95EA

(be sure you type zeros and capital "D", "E" and, "A")

I can"t fint the wolf. He's not in the house. Does someone can help me ?

@The Ranger Pharaoh: Any mods that alter Meeko, even just adding scripts or minor changes, will be incompatible, and, looking at the page, I think that includes the "give a dog a home" mod;
HOWEVER: I am working on a re-implementation of this mod that should be compatible with any other mods that alter Meeko, and I think I've gotten the kinks worked out, so it should be uploaded by the end of the week
