@Yendor I only have one house mod and that is the enchanter table add on in the alchemy room.
And have no kids (adoption) but if I find it I will let you know.

@rockrewls do you have any mods, i have the same problem 1 of the mods stoped it from working, if you figger out what mod please tell me so i can try and fix it but i think it was a dlc could be the child adoption one or the house building dlc im not shore but as i said if you work out what mod is doing it please tell me

Shalionos8794 i had the same thing happen after adding other dlc's. i have tryed to track this down but i could not. it works for me if i only have darnguard installed. i dont know why yet if you find out please tell me

I got the croos bow from the skyforge and for some reason it shoots at the same speed as a regular dwarven cross bow instead of the speed shown in the video help please

rbull i never made the cross bow i used the one in the game and copied it and changed the speed and added enchants this is just an upgraded virson of the defult dwimer crossbow if i ever reinstall the game ill look at that maby

Manus812 for some reason it wont load in the editor it crashes but plays in game fine i dont understand why my other mods load fine in the editor i might have to make a new mod to get around this, ill wait for my bro to look at why it crashes the editor

Manus812 na man i understand why you would like a diffrent look i would want the same thing im sorry that i have been lazy i say lazy but i was playing minecraft mad pack and i forgot about my mods i will endevor to make you a new toy and i do need to play this again im getting bord busting up blocks anyway and i am also an admin on my brothers server so my time will be spent on keeping the peace there and in skyrim

Manus812 i have been trying to remember how i did this, i now remember that it is not an enchantment like i said it is a setting on the crossbow so to do as you ask i would realy need to make a new crossbow in the editor if i do and i wont make any promises as i have not used the editor in some time if i do get the time and the drive i will make a new set, just for you ok. but it could take some time since i also have outher demands on my time, as it will take some testing befor i release them, sorry for the mix up..

Can you make this for a Enhanced STEEL Crossbow. I like the look of the origional crossbow. the Dwarven one doesn't fit my character.

notice to all, if this mod crasher your pc it is due to outher mods you have, if any. as it works fine on my pc so it must be a conflict with a mod that uses the same names for items ( fix see witch mod you have witch adds eather crossbows or arrows as this only adds new sets of arrows or crossbow i did not change existing game items all items in this mod are new and free standing ) i dont like changing game items, i copy items and change only the copys, so there is no conflict the same with the affects they are fresh copys as well

Zinulviing : the hitting power is also based in the bolt or arrow, yes some of the power comes from the crossbow or bow, but most of the power is in the projectile. ( i did have the power way to hi, but a changed that ages back, as it was sending the target aross skyrim when hit ) if your virson is making a crack when it hits, it would be the old virson, it fired 10 bolts for every 1 bolt fired or used, i changed that to be a 1 to 1 ratio like a standard crossbow, but still it is ment to be over powered, just try the smaller one it is found next to the forge at the front gate it is 4.5 much much slower when compaired to 50 speed, if you dont like the fastest one disenchant it and learn the enchantment to put on outher weapons ( i have not used this in some time as i have been using spells ie my lasers or the plague spells ) this crossbow stoped working for me when i started using hearth fire as that dlc changed some thing
