I couldn't figure out how to actually write on these things.

@ Bjoern, Thanks for the quick response. I did not realize that there was a notes object. However, I like your copy and scale recommendation best though.

I would probably use the alternate to the cutout to help identify the characters a bit better.

On a semi-related note:

I am currently tinkering with an alternative to the cutout figurine:

Would anyonen want to use these? I find them more comfortable to look at, as they allow a topdown view and are more easily recognizable.

My personal recommendation would be to place a notecard on Notes section and write any notes you need onto it. (It is in Objects -> Components -> Tools. If you rightclick it, there are two textfields on the bottom, which allow you to enter text).

As for the items: Simply make a copy of the card you wish to note down, scale it down by hovering the mouse over it and using +/- and leave it in the appropriate section of the card.

If you want to transfer between saves / mods, unlock all components, box-select them and copy with ctrl+c, load the new save and paste with ctrl+v.

Bjoern, do you have a recommended way of writing on the Items/Notes section? I find the text tool they have to be quite difficult and the text is not persistent between mod/saves.
