Could have been brighter, but the light level was fine. Nice texturing work.

Puzzle design was solid. Some moments to stop and think about.

@RICHTER (リカルド) I'm glad you liked it! :D
I used the Ingame editor and made a whole bunch of prototypes. Then I chose one and tested it on people, changing and tweaking stuff along the way. When I felt like I was close to something good I exported it into the hammer to make it look and work even better :)
Nyakuza Kiddo 23 Jul, 2017 @ 5:54pm
was easy but great!!! :D
did you use hammer editor?
Čolibri 10 Jul, 2017 @ 3:03pm
Smart puzzle; not difficult but need re-think.

@FtW I didn't know what BEEmod was until now but it sure looks like a useful mod! A lot more options than in the PTI! I created this map using the Hammer World Editor after doing some prototyping in the PTI :)
fops. 1 Jul, 2017 @ 2:12pm
...i can't tell if this is BEEmod or just pure excellent skills for test creation. Probably the latter :)
Mojo 26 Jun, 2017 @ 4:26am
Nice map, thx for building it!
CroVox 23 Jun, 2017 @ 5:10am
Great stuff
WOiiler   [author] 18 Jun, 2017 @ 2:35pm
@Turmoil Can't believe I missed that ^^ Awesome work! I was not expecting to have so many players play my map, and even less, speedrun it! :)
Turmoil 18 Jun, 2017 @ 1:04pm
I did a speedrun of the map. https://youtu.be/RcUG3Gea578

In the underground puzzle style a lot of times players can place portals in other sections or use flings to jump over to the end.
Vapid Clay 16 Jun, 2017 @ 11:55am
Only improvement I'd recommend is ditching the red X on the wall of the schizophrenic room. It makes it look like it's supposed to be part of the solution, when it's not. Good map throughout, logical and fun puzzles.
kageroh000 9 Jun, 2017 @ 7:27am
Nice work.
nobull 6 Jun, 2017 @ 10:02am
nice little puzzle with moderate difficulty

Nice work.

Really cool map. Coming back to Portal2 after a many month break this really made me think. Thanks for an enjoyable re-introduction.
mbrown259 14 May, 2017 @ 5:39am
I'm impressed, especially for a first-time project. You thought this out well and it took me some time to figure out the ending. Well done!:steamhappy:
Grayson Peddie 13 May, 2017 @ 11:37am
I actually made this test seem harder than it actually is! Well done!

Excellent; made me think. It took me a while to work out that the exit door was the exit door, but maybe that's just me. :)
Pepper 16 Apr, 2017 @ 5:31pm
@WOiiler, I would recommend moving the edge of the wall over, or maybe adding a second light bridge on top.
WOiiler   [author] 16 Apr, 2017 @ 5:05pm
@ [Salsa] Bell Pepper wow. Haha thanks for trying it out again for me! Do you have any idea of a good solution or should I let it slide?
Pepper 16 Apr, 2017 @ 3:48pm
@WOiller Nice attempt at trying to stop me from making that light brudge jump in the first half, however it it still possible. You have to jump when the platform is moving up to get enough height to manouver around the wall.
WOiiler   [author] 16 Apr, 2017 @ 1:46pm
Thank you so much for both playing and recording my map @MrChopsticks! Your solution is indeed not the "intended" one, but a bunch of people do it that way and I'm fine with it ^^ I really liked your commentary and was surprised that you didnt have more subscribers and views. And it was valuable to me that you said what you were thinking while playing. Thanks again :)
MrChopsticks 16 Apr, 2017 @ 12:26pm
Great job making this test chamber, dude. I really enjoyed playing it! I'm not sure if I used physics to my advantage the way you intended, but I solved the 2nd chamber nonetheless.

I posted a video of my playthrough here: https://youtu.be/JbgAWnD7v_U

Keep it up!
Bob 13 Apr, 2017 @ 2:19pm
Nicely done for your first map, made me think for a while. But I like puzzles which arent too hard, so after 5 minutes you get that AHA moment
dven1 10 Apr, 2017 @ 7:10am
I tried it again and you can also actually drop down right onto the exit platform in front of the exit door (without going through that window to the outside) and make your way to the exit elevator without leaving the map proper.
dven1 10 Apr, 2017 @ 6:54am
Ah, I hadn't tried that, good you found it and can respond appropriately.
WOiiler   [author] 10 Apr, 2017 @ 5:23am
@dven1 Thanks for playing and thanks for finding that shortcut! Yes I tried it and you can actually go through the window and jump onto a broken frame. Then you can jump all the way down to the walkway before the exit. Will fix it as soon as I can!
WOiiler   [author] 10 Apr, 2017 @ 5:19am
@nockscitney Thank you for playing and recording my map! It's really useful for making improvements. Loved it when you ran up to the blocking lightbridge in the first puzzle and just froze ^^
Your solution with rolling the ball is not what was originally intended but something I chose not to prevent. The "intended" solution is to put the lightbridge onto the angled panel below the button and make a slope.
dven1 10 Apr, 2017 @ 4:25am
Nice map, well made and sufficiently lit. Fun puzzles, not too hard but enjoyable to solve, especially with the interesting visuals. Did you know you can lightbridge out of the "secret" room through the window and then jump into the water outside the actual map area below the exit? The water doesn't kill you so you can "swim" around and look about. It doesn't help solve the map but is noteworthy for the exploration value and just as a curiosity. Thanks for your efforts.
nock 10 Apr, 2017 @ 2:28am
Played this one on my livestream the other day (link below). I liked what you did with the map, especially the exit area, it was nice to walk down into an "office" like area. The puzzles we're not the hardest but I still enjoyed it as a whole. Well Done

@Corrupt Thank you for the feedback!
I think I am the most unsatisfied with how I didn't get the theme right. Having a light bridges, a tractor beam and a sphere in underground setting? what? I can maybe switch the droppers to the appropriate skin and the indicator lights though!
I had very limited time for this project unfortunately. But I know for sure that I need to do a whole lot more research if I make another map!
c 9 Apr, 2017 @ 5:22am
For a first hammer map, it's not that bad. However, some things could be improved.

The destroyed old aperture theme surprisingly doesn't look that bad, but some things just don't seem right (e.g vines, like seriously, we're underground, it doesn't make sense.) and
also it's pretty obvious that you exported from PETI, which isn't always a bad thing, but it does leave some problems behind like how the cube droppers are overgrown and how the indicator lights are clean.
Other than that, it's not a bad first hammer map but some things should still be fixed.
WOiiler   [author] 9 Apr, 2017 @ 3:55am
@dmuk Thanks! That's what I was going for (:
