its a nice change of pace
Congratulations dude, just take your time.
Level 13 has been ready for a while; I'd been holding it until 14 was done but since it's taking so long I figured I'd update. The grand finale is already underway and should be ready soon!
As always, any feedback is appreciated!
Been taking longer than expected so I added levels 11 and 12 - I would have done so sooner but I am not very good at the actual game and I have to beat the entire campaign each time I want to make a change.
Level 11 is more cutscene than level but it took a long time to get right and I felt like it was an important turning point in the narrative :)
Level 12 is all gameplay though, and probably the biggest one I have done yet.
Please let me know what you think!
I won't be updating again until the campaign is complete, at which time I'll spruce it up a little and re-upload the whole thing - will leave a link here when this happens!
He is Hammer.
Particularly re: the sprites - they should make more sense to the narrative now!
Also it should be more difficult now.
SO as a happy compromise I've decided to nuke this campaign and re-use some of the assets for another one - focused around the Hammer character and interacting mildly with the HM2 story - that way the sprites make sense. :)
I have one level for this finished; when I've reached two (the same amount of content already there) I will swap out this campaign for the new stuff. Another change I've decided to make is to stop doing the 'scaling difficulty' thing and just starting them out as pretty difficult, since this extra content is usually played by people who have already beat the game and not new players.
So thanks all, and in the next few days you will see this stuff all change - I hope you take the time to play the new levels !
Also to get more attention, I advise adding a thumbnail to the finished version, just swap the file names 'screen' with a png under 350kb
