Whouldn't the extra gold just counter the maintenance cost of the prerequisite shrine, effectively granting two faith based buildings maintenance free?

I can't seem to use ANY mods that have vikings, norwegians, celts, danes, etc. Everytime I download these civs, and try to turn them on, I am told that I am missing this or that. How can I get this worked out? I have downloaded and paid for the Korean mod, Wonders mod, scrambled nations, etc. but no matter what I do, I am still unable to use ANY nordic civilization. Can someone tell me what is going on?

Yeah, it's a pretty simple mod, I don't see there being any problems with BNW.

The stavkirke is an amazing Norwegian architechural marvel, built between 1030 and 1350 CE. Not only do they combine Christian and Viking artwork but many are still standing 800 years later despite being built of wood! They were built to shed water in wet Norway where the forest floors often have moss several feet thick and to flex in the wind. See the book NORWEGIAN WOOD by Jerri Holan. Better yet, go to Norway and be amazed; first stop: the open air museum of wooden architecture in Oslo.

Think this is more of a swedish type of chuch. havent seen this in Denmark or any of our history books, but have seen one in sweden. Still, getting rid of the skiInf is great. We have nil tradition to equip troops with alpine equipment... except for strong alcohole.

I approve of this. I'm not saying 4 moves and a combat buff of 25 is bad for riflemen but this is DENMARK not Norway. Pluss you want to earn as mutch faith as you can in the early game but the only people that can seam to do that are Celts. All in all I see this for a peaceful Denmark and you can always go back to NSI (Norwegian Ski Infantry) if you need to go hard core vikeing.

The addition of a happiness building really allows you to create a wide and conquest-oriented Danish Empire more effectivell then before. You won't really miss the Ski unit if you have plenty of promotion buildings for your riflemen.
