Welp, that took a long time to get updated, hope it all works fine! I did remove the advanced trainability from the doomalope now. it really wasn't balanced (if you want it back, there's mods like Customize Animals!

No, it won't work correctly. I always have to recompile the boom when the game gets updated and I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Q: Why is it that this mod's description lacks any mention about adding a "boomalotter", while the comments talk about adding such? (Indeed, the description makes it clear that quote, "This mod adds a single animal, the doomalope..." Just saying...

Didn't see any in the wild, but bought one from a trade-caravan on year 2 or 3. Lovely creatures, spectacular deaths! Introduces interesting new last stand defense tactics.

The update to 1.0 only changed the version code and finally added the boomalotter, so just enable it in your 0.19 game. ^^

I like these guys as sappers against raids, send them to attack while the raiders are still preparing at the map edge. SOOOOOO funny! :steamhappy:

Also think "boomotters" would be AWESOME in a river map!

I'm currently testing a boomalotter, which falls between boomrat and boomalope in explosion size. though the fact they're predators might be a problem. :P

You're most likely to encounter doomalopes in arid shrubland or desert biomes, though they also appear in extreme deserts, temperate forests and rainforests. They are quite rare in general though.

Idea: Daverat: Slightly worse than a boomalope, rat sized, and causes toxic buildup (10%) If caught in the radius. [Davy Crocket RPN]
Ivylope: Worse than a Doomalope, fires galore, toxic buildup (50%) if caught in radius, as well as burns. [Ivy Mike Thermonuclear Bomb]
Doombo: Super rare event, Doombo horn worth 1000000S, but will explode if shot to death (last damage from a gun or charge weapon) and causes a planetkiller GAME OVER.
Radalope: No environment damage, but toxic 75% and severe burns within radius, as well as a 50% chance for carcinoma.

I know that mod exists, but since the patch has been finished I see no pressing need to change it now. Also I assume that it relies on xpath patching in some way, which I'm told adds more load time than the old method.
Taking a look at the Easy Patcher is on my to-do list, though. :)

I dunno if this would require extensive changes to your mod, but have you seen the A Dog Said Easy Patcher? It allows you to include A Dog Said compatibility innately without requiring an additional mod.
