@MrKRINKLE44 That's totally fine as its made as a gear mod not a faction expansion. Even then just pre-make your kits or use limited arsenal and add it to them if you plan on making operations with it.

Sadly I haven't had the opportunity or time to do so, although since because of current world events, I might start having time soon enough.

Hey, I'm wondering if you're still working on this mod? I really like the mod and the 2035 nordic units.

They do, since I never got around to changing the normalmaps as those require you to have a new rvmat which requires a bit more work than just having a new texture.

It's not a gamebreaking thing though, the uniforms are properly flagged as indfor, and are visually distinct enough.

As for Zeus or DRO/DCO, you can still very much use the uniforms and such, in Zeus the Zeus can place down arsenal boxes (at least with some Zeus mods), and with DRO/DCO you can take the uniforms at will in your base or so, as Virtual Arsenal is available there as well.

@Nirrti To be honest some of the uniforms and loadouts do look nice. For players to use with arsenal or individually customized loadouts this is functional. For more "on the run" games like Zeus or Dynamic Recon Ops it wouldnt at all though.
The pacific test loadout looks particularly good. The SOTG still have a noticeable CSAT emblem.

Well, it's been left in limbo for a long time, it's mainly still up because I'd figure the uniforms and such might get still use, and at least do get used in my Arma Group.

I might continue it sometime soon, depending on how the current world situation and my work situation pans out.

For anyone not looking at the dates on the comments (and upload) this is very WIP. Many units are not equipped with weapons at all.
@Author This is a really cool concept but looking at the dates I dont expect this to ever be in a use able state. If you do ever work on it again I would be happy to give more detailed comments and test again.

Really hope you update this mod, quite possibly one of my favorite mods to use in Arma and I'd love to Zeus with it

If and when you're adding the Swedish uniforms and gear, can you plese try to make helmets with different camo-net-combos, varietys of attached grass/moss/tree-branches etc?

Swedes who are at least a bit familiar with our militarys outfits would find this option very "fitting" since we all cover ourselves in different foliage while training in the Swedish woodlands... We often basically looking like small, walking, pinetrees or bushes... waving guns haha ;)

M04 isn't desert pattern, while it was used in the middle east, it's not a true desert pattern, and is closer to the arid I'm using here.

Basic M05 camo looks fine, but the dark areas in snow camo should be lighter. Also there's a desert alternative of M05 called M04, you could've used it instead of custom desert pattern. Otherwise seems pretty cool, really Finland oriented though.

Love the camos in this mod, they are very high quiality and i highly appreciate really small interesting mods such as a Northern Europe special forces faction. Great Job!

Well, my Swedish/Finnish friends got a cool laugh out of the notion of them being against NATO and CSAT (though i had to explain what 'CSAT' was).

No hate of course, its a cool thought, i'd probably do the same kind of thing for my country if i didnt live in America (where the base game already does it), we all gotta love where we come from.

oo sorry maby i should rephrase in a mod pack together with other mod for ease of access to my community. i like to use small mod pack on my mission instead of the like of rhs or cup. But doing it that way makes it that i then have a mod list of 30+ mods.

not appealing to most players as it a massive list but i actual fact it less data downloaded. but the perception is massive downloads. making a mod packmeans the player download like 5-7 mods of which one is a mod pack (that contains a number of mods)

I don't see why you would need permission to use it in a mod collection, unless you mean something else than steam collections.

Some of the templates aren't separated for applying camos properly without editing the templates. Is there any particular method you used to select the camo areas without covering things like the headlights?

The Qilin has a template from BIS themselves, the Viper Suit and CTRG helmet I had to make myself.

Did you use texture templates for any of the Apex assets? Or did you just make them yourself?

You can always add it yourself by editing the unit's loadout in the editor, or make a loadout for zeus and load that for the unit if you're using zeus.
