Whats the tactic like in home games where you are big favourites to win?

Just played a game against Crystal Palace and had 44 shots with 17 on target and only 2 goals was scored. My team is really struggling to score goals against the more worse clubs if so to say. The ball is either being kicked straight into the goalkeeper, or just far away from the goal. It's almost like this every game, and the team is almost throwing the win away because of the lack in shooting accuracy. I'm managing Tottenham btw.

Just wondering whether anybody knows if this tactic would be useful in a big relagation battle? Thanks!

test, have you tried change the mentality of the team to control? Or should i just the counter mentality for managing a team like united? :-)

Ah thanks! I decided to buy players that suited the role rather than go through the bother of retraining players. So I brought in some fast paced wingers, Raheem Sterling & Nathan Redmond, hopefully they'll help me achieve glory with Liverpool!

played 2 games so far with this as spurs. 1 pre season ame against south china won 8-0 and first game of the season against west ham and won 6-1! great tatic and very helpful!

i just want to mention that this tactic also works in lower leagues. after 25 matchdays i'm defending the 7th place, scored the most goals, having by far the worst team in the league and changed literally nothing. once again, well done..lol

i have played 3 1/2 seasons so far, went from third division to the first by only using this tactic.
the only thing i changed is allround striker to proacher in lower leagues. it's really fun to watch.

Worked brilliant with midtable teams. Then I tried it with Man City & other big teams and failed. Couldn't beat spurs & west ham. Changing mentality from "counter" to "control" makes a huge difference. Beat West ham 5-0 and Middlesborough 6-0 so far. Instant impact.

I try this tactic with 2 different teams. With the weak team it is like i have a super team. With the little stronger team it's hard to score more than 2 goals. Anyway, it works awesome

In the lead in PL with Southampton. I've played 10 matches 9 wins and 1 draw.. I won against Spurs and Pool away and Man City at home.. Bought Keane from Burnley..

Keane & Van Dijk as centre backs is unbeaten so far!
And Gabiadini 14 goals in 10 matches !!

And i don't have a problem with yellow cards with this tactic, as i used to have!

I've just started using this tactic at the tail end of my 1st season with Torino. I must say that this tactic has transformed the way the team is playing. You need two good full-backs for sure, as they provide the width in this system. A good tactic!

Great tactic used it for every game in a season for Parma in seria B won league with 18 point lead and even got to the final of the itallia cup beating AC Milan 4-1 reccommed alot of pace both wings and work horse striker. Thanks for the tactic

I'm just testing this tactic in my Grasshoppers and it's great. The first match is 3: 1 with Young Boys. Continue to win, nice, interesting ball. Something like this I was looking for, and can play simultaneously my quartet. Caio, Gjorgjev, Andersen and Sigurjonsson. Thanks a great buddy!
