Had an pirate encounter with stuck present vanila ilmarinen.

Cost me drop in trust with Polaris to crack its shields open and replace core.

Just to find forbidden blocks, which are aft alien blocks possibly.

Any chance you got an present ready-to-spawn ilmarinen?

@hypertion Yeah :) I built this ship originally for my own gameplay and later adapted it as a dungeon for the game. But I think it has been long since been replaced with a new version. Thanks for the comment!

This is the OG? i remember the mission that takes place on a wreck of this ship, the ship itself was amazing and left quite a impression.

@Punk1991 Yeah, I have not had the time to update this ship past Alpha 8.0 - probably does not work with the current CPU rules.

@Dreadlord6 Polaris Corp is originally my creation. But most builds that are in game right now are made by other creators.

I have made it up to date. In a spawnable version that is below lvl 25. I will publish it with reference when finished.

I solved it.

I like it. But when i spawned it in creative it did not work. The power did not even turn on.

The cpu usage is high. I would belive that one can solve that by removing the RCS. But that the power was all turned off no matter what u tried was not good. What should i do?

did u come up with polaris or is it an expansion on the existing ingame ships

found the poi variant of this and updating it for v10. Don't normally post workshop builds, but if Rainyday is not updating for V10 I'll post the updated version when it's finished.

@Death Sovereign - The ending was actually modified by Eleon - but I think the dudes should disappear, but not the ship AFAK. Haven't been playing in a while so not sure about the latest developements.

+rainyday I was just playing Empyrion the other day with someone, and we got to a room with a big alien thing that was greenish, and I shot at it and it flashed away and then there was something else that I shot at, and then it flashed away too, and then the entire ship flashed and disapppeared, leaving us, our ship, and two robots next to Reest. Is it supposed to do that?

Just coming back after a break and noticed this as a POI. Such a great job designing both the original ship and the POI encounter. Looking forward to an update to 8.

@Elle Nice to hear! :) Out of curiosity - what modifications did you make? It's always interesting to see/hear how people play this game, as there are so many different ways :)

This is my favorite base CV. I made some changes to better fit into the current version of the game but I did not work long on it and I will adapt it slightly if necessary.

@Felix_el_Gato Thanks! Quite a few hours went into this ship - majority of those hours to painting, texturing and details in the interior.

This ship is quite simply amazing. The attention to detail is unlike any I've seen. Many larger ships are filled with vast empty or unfinished spaces, but in this ship each space has a clear, well thought out purpose. In creative I used godmode to travel through the ship and was astonished by the details to hidden mechanical spaces that I'm not even sure a player has access to normally. Ilmarinen is truly a work of art. Well done, sir!
