Where do I find downloaded mods?
lee.rock 13 Mar, 2023 @ 4:18pm
Hi. Thanks for the reply. still can't open it to play for some reason.
MadMark56  [author] 12 Mar, 2023 @ 11:21am
Hi lee.rock,
In your description you didn't mention that you went to Community, and then to Workshop, then search Tabletop Simulator (or just enter tab in the search and hit TS, it's the third entry) and subscribe to the Kingmaker mod. Then when you next start TS it's in your downloaded mods.
The game will be in single player mode, to play with multi-players you'll have to set the # of players etc. as per the TS rules. Hope this helps...

How does one get to play this?
I have subscribed and paid/downloaded tabletop simulator, but cannot find how to go further and open it to play.

Hey alto-saxophone,
The Table is expandable, just hit the white button and adjust the size. One can add up to ten player colors (I think), Set it up by starting an multiplayer game and set the # of players & slots. Hope that helps...:d20:
alto_saxophone 27 Jun, 2022 @ 11:14pm
I would like to see two more player slots and a larger table.

Greetings chasmarsh,
I FINALLY got around to fixing the event cards you mentioned, hope I got them all, let me know if not!:d20:
chasmarsh 8 May, 2020 @ 2:41pm
No problem! I have the 1976 AH edition however I don't believe they changed the Event Cards from version to version but I could be wrong. My group uses the physical game along with TTS so that's how we spotted the differences.

One more that I left out of the previous post:

Storms at Sea - Ships Take Refuge In Nearest Port - Killed: Hastings, Berkeley - 4-1 Victory
[Should read: Killed: Stafford, Berkeley]

Hi chasmarsh,
Thanks for these updates. I didn't make these cards (courtesy of BGGeek, they may even be from a different version or release of the game), but I do like to have accurate mods on TTS. I'll try to get these implemented soon.:ttrhat:
chasmarsh 8 May, 2020 @ 10:45am
Thanks for the fix MadMark! Okay, you asked so... here's some other (more minor) errors. These all concern Event Cards.

French Raid - Warden of the Cinque Ports to Rye with 2 ships - Killed: Neville, Stanley, Clifford - 4-1 Victory [Should read: 3-1 Victory]

French Raid - Fitzalan to Arundel, Beuafort to Corfe - Killed: Cromwell, Greystoke - 4-1 Victory [Should read: Piracy. Also, Beuafort spelled Beaufort]

Peasant Revolt - Neville to Raby, Scrope to Masham, Roos to Helmsley, Mowbray to Wressle, Archbishop of York to York, Marshal to Thetford - Killed: Talbot, Stanley - 3-2 Victory
[Should read: Marshal to Wakefield]

Revolt in Wales - Mowbray to Denbigh, Fitzalan to Chirk, Chancellor of Duchy of Lancaster to Conway, Chamberlain of County Palatine of Chester to Chester - Bad Weather Delays Attack
[Should read: Chamberlain of County Palatine of Chester to Rhuddlan]

Hey chasmarsh,
I uploaded the 2 missing town cards, but the Lt of Ireland was there...total of 80 crown cards in deck. ( the two extra title cards made my total correct, so I didn't check!) Please let me know if you find other errors as I'll never fix them if I don't know. Thanks!:cozyspaceengineersc:

Hey chasmarsh,
Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't check the card deck for accuracy, my fault! I'll look into an update soon!:winter2019angrybulb:
chasmarsh 2 Apr, 2020 @ 3:19pm
Noticed a few errors on Event Cards but more significantly, 2 copies of Earls of Salisbury and Worcester Crown Deck cards and no Nottingham or Northampton town cards. No Lieutenant of Ireland either (but it has an asterisk so maybe not part of the original AH version?)

Hey generalross1814,
Just start a game in multiplayer mode with as many hands as people are playing, then deal the cards and follow the rules included. Hope that helps.
MadMark56  [author] 12 Sep, 2019 @ 6:59pm
Hey A88mph,
New table, usable gamebox, better scans on charts, and rules PDF. That's about it.:dicemiss:
A88mph 12 Sep, 2019 @ 2:16pm
What's in the update?
generalross1814 23 Nov, 2018 @ 3:13pm
I've also subscribed but can't see how I actually play the game?
old_banshee 23 Nov, 2018 @ 8:48am
I subscribed but how do I download this game?
tincanman1ca 5 Nov, 2017 @ 3:40am
My favourite game of all time! Still have it on my shelf.
SaltyO 18 Apr, 2017 @ 7:44pm
I just read about this game in a book called Eurogames, and here it is. I've never actually played it, or even heard of it before that, despite it being popular in the hobby game world. It sounds really funny and unique for its time.
Creative Guy1 5 Apr, 2017 @ 8:42am
Had the original Avalon Hill version all those years ago (41 to be precise).
Many thanks for bringing it back to life.
Wakukee 4 Apr, 2017 @ 10:41pm
@MadMark56 I might get around to adding those bards in myself,I'll let you know if I do! I also have the original game, so I could make some new scans as needed for missing pieces.
sleepytimes 4 Apr, 2017 @ 10:13pm
Very impressed to see this on here.
MadMark56  [author] 3 Apr, 2017 @ 10:40am
Thanks Wakukee, I included the advanced and optional rules cards (they have an asterix on the card), but nothing from the later issues of the General, or those done as add-ons. Though they could be added easily as a separate deck.:ttrhat:
Wakukee 3 Apr, 2017 @ 3:30am
This is great! Have you added the "new" event cards that were released since the game first came out?
Franky 16 Mar, 2017 @ 2:21pm
Thanks!!!
