yep.. seriously, it is couple of hours to solve issue.. they made a whole game, played by thousands, but still keep ignoring such small but known bugs.. like still it is quite easy to solve if you have source code.. and game will be truly multilangual.. =(

thanks to your effort btw, i will keep using mod anyway~ its only one and best mod i have ))

well, I think we just solved the great mystery of why Fireaxis didn't want to allow Mid-Campaign language changing: because of this issue of the case of switching to a language with a graphically different alphabet.... but a new mystery arises... instead of blocking language changing why didn't they spend a couple of hours of one of their professional programmers to fix the issue? who knows... ;)

When I actually completed those objectives, there appeared English translation of the same task As different Objective, and they were completed - but their russian duplicates - still there.

I tried to find some savefile editor or whatever possible to get rid of those meaningless objectives which doesnt effect any game process, just some random Cyrillic text on game UI.. but didnt succeed..

If anyone can advice anything? I guess its savefiles issue of keeping current objectives' list separately..

Oh hi~ krumiro

Yep, I dont have WotC. I just started XCOM 2 from very beginning and dealing with those avatar projects.. About other languages I cannot know.. :

Before installation of the mod i started campaign in russian. Came to certain progress and tried to change language and realized savefiles dont work on other languages. Then played few days more with russian again, and found this mod and it is saved my game experience - english is far more better.

But my current quest (my last savefile before installation of mod was actual quest, not Avenger menu) did not translated. All objectives of the quests (all active quests and missions) with their names were in russian. But any new objective or updated started being added in english so I thought after some progress I will just get rid off all russian labels and text.. but...

Hi, (both dead and alive) Cat. ;) Did this happen before War of the Chosen? Does it happen only with Russian?

Hey guys need help, anyone managed how to get rid off objectives in old language left in Avenger View's left-top corner?

Like current global objectives like "Изучить мозг Кодекса" in russian left after I applied mod and finished the quest successfully ~ So english duplicate of the quest now checked, but russian one (old one) left as is.

And there are several of them~

Any advices? Thanks for great mod anyway

When you try to see how the ability its named on Russian to translate the change log, but you can't look it up yourself because you play English version (Russian translation is quite bad) and you have to start a new game to find out.
This is why I like this mod. I can relate to it.

I don't need it but you got a thumb up. Another not-funny moment when you realize (again) that Firaxis can't do a quarter-decent coding in Unreal Engine, and you have to rely on the community to clean their s**t up.
