Vicious AI

absolutely great campaign ai mod, absolutely terrible parasite of an auto resolve mod attached to it which ruins it. seriously had 10,000 men in a siege DEFENCE (almost all elites) against 1000 random huns trying to attack the settlement (with no artillery, just T2 horse archers) which somehow wiped out over 6 full-strength unit cards. i've fought similar battles and had less than 15 casualties. this mod completely breaks auto-resolve. way to ruin the good mod with a terrible addition...

Thank you for this, i remember ai is bolder and aggresive in total war shogun 2, in this game, ai wont attack if you have stack on your settement, which is not fun since i like defending game

it's been 6 months
these days the AI doesn't even attack when I camp between their garissoned settlement and two full armies

one problem I have with this mod is that the AI decides to attack twice in a row with full armies instead of sending in both armies at once

They are not attacking me at all and are very scared because of my unlimited ammo its pissing me off, I wanted to go against whole map and deffend waves after waves but appereantly they re just running away. and when I attack I cant even attack their walls, whole army just gets out and attacks me on the field to not get shot by missiles.

Hey I only have AI settle raze places more often on do u think it would effect this?

It is not compatible with other AI mods. You cannot have two different values for the same thing :)

Hey I'm not sure if the mod is working for me. I tried some tests with AI aggressiveness, but they had the same results whether it was on or off. Also, there is no difference to my army cap or agent cap with the mod on or off.

Is there a specific placement in the load order this needs to be to work? I'm also use A More Aggressive A.I. mod.

Thx for making this mod, usually the ai is a real coward, they lay siege to fortified settlements but wait the city to starve while it could easily attack it.

Once for a whole decade an enemy was sieging and unsieging a single place

@sizarieldor2 I did some research but unfortunately I don't see a way to reduce/increase the casualties of a certain type of units.

@Kaiser The problem with this is the AI threat calculation. If I increase it, the AI will attack with more units in early game but it won't attack at all in late game due to the insane threat buffs of late units and walled settlements. It's a CA's mess I know :) As you progress you will notice that AI will send more and more armies against you. In my campaign I get a lot 1vs4 stacks battles.

Excellent mod! Is it possible to make the AI attack with more than one army? It's good that they are now more aggressive, but it would make it more fun if they had better odds in their favour IMO

Can you make it so that special units don't get extra casualties? When I play manually, i send the expendables to do the dirty work and I keep my axemen/shock cav safe. But with the "Better Auto resolve" mod, I lose whole units of shock cav, axe infantry, and even catapults (!). Minos isn't updating, it seems, but you might know.
