Any chance of you can release the "Whip's Drop Pod Status Screens v7" found on this ship to workshop with instructions? I've copy and pasted the program into my own ships program block it compilation successful, but of cource errors "Caught exception during execution of script" . I've tried to reverse engineer best I can, but I do not know enough program language to modify it to my needs.

Example: Making easy of adding number of Drop Pods from 1 to Whatever, If you have a drop hanger doors or not, etc...

Again no big deal if not. I know it take a lot of time and effort to make these scripts.

Make sure that you have the latest version and that the drop bay doors are completely opened.

Only a few of the non critical scripts were outdated. Ship and all the scripts within it have been updated

Again, it still lands fine on all easy start planets in vanilla.

I would really appreciate a fix or explanation. In the meantime, I have to use a stub

It definitely works on planets. I literally just tested it. I do also see the negative braking altitude on pertam and I have a fix in the work for that, but even with that, I had the entire set of drop pods safely land once they got through the region of the atmosphere where stopping was impossible due to the thruster layout.

It's a good thing, but the script doesn't work on Pertam (1.2g) at all. The braking altitude jumps at different values, but eventually reduces to negative, which is the reason for the lack of braking of the droppod and the crash, respectively. Any ideas?

would be good if all infantry pods had a rifle and some ammo from what ive seen only one pod is pre-equipped which makes the other less useful is combat.

Yeah man, thanks for the responses and all but the drop pods now seem to be surviving their descent to mars in the scenario world too. Not sure why they were crashing or what caused them to start working again but after testing it in a vanilla world then adding the relative top speed mod to that world and having them survive i went back to my scenario world for more testing and they survived the 3 consecutive drop tests now with no changes to the settings or mods in the scenario world so i guess i'm just chalking this one up to SE being SE for a little while.

cannot confirm....thought I had figured that out and that maybe I had put in the relative top speed mod, tested it and got the craters i expected, ran a second test to see if the infantry pod would survuve with me in it like it had been in my scenario world and all three survived the drop with the relative top speed mod on the second test, so maybe they can't consistantly survive the drop with relative top speed on and that IS the issue or maybe it's something else and the initial results of testing were just coincidental. test results inconclusive.

I had an idea that I am about to test....I MIGHT have had the relative top speed mod in the world and forgotten i had added that and having a higher top speed than the they would in vanilla would probably account for them not slowing down fast enough to not crash, so I made a whole new vanilla test world and the first drop was successful, I just added the relative top speed mod and am about to go test another drop and see if the results match what i was seeing in my scenario world and that may be the answer.

MES, ACS, Rotary Airlocks and Reavers are the only mods I had up and running at the time, I may have added some other stuff recently but i can't remember what all I have done since. But at the time I was testing the ship in world only Splitsies ACS mod, The Rotary Airlock Block, MES, and Reavers were the only thing I had in the world other than the Hunchback

In vanilla script behavior is not at all related to player presence.

Yes, scripts are enabled. The weird part is the automated drop pod script works for the infantry pod if someone is in it, but if the player jumps out of the cockpit during the drop then the pod slams into the ground like the other two...I really can't figure it out because I am almost positive that all three worked perfectly on my first test dropping the pods on mars, but then the last several attempts i made resulted in craters.

I'm having a bit of an issue with the drop pods in the ship, I was planning on using your hunchback as the starting ship in a little escape from mars-esque scanrio i'm setting up for me and my friends to play through but the cargo pod, survival pod, and infantry pod(if the cockpit is empty only) slam into the surface of mars at top speed rather than slowing their descent with the thrusters.

I recently made a server that is using the Air traffic mod, and whenever this ship spawns it crashes the game. says something about corrupt memory for it.
