Increased Merchant Gold Count

does it set it directly to 10000 for blacksmiths or is it set to multiply their amounts by 10 so it scales with speech?
Lady Aislinn 16 Dec, 2018 @ 9:32am
In reference to my previous post, I realized what the problem was. Anytime a merchant's gold goes above 30K, that merchant will no longer give gold while buying items, but will still take the items from the player's inventory. This happens with any mod, and possibly in the vanilla game, as well. (Though I'm not sure if it's been tested in the vanilla game except by the use of console commands.) So it wasn't a problem with Tonillia herself; it was just that her merchant gold had gone above the max that the game could work with.
Lady Aislinn 22 Oct, 2018 @ 12:11pm
I have a question: I had previously installed a mod that just affected Tonilia's gold (the Thieves' Guild Merchant), but I uninstalled it when I recently noticed that it was broken. (Tonilia took my items but never gave me the gold for it. That mod had increased just her gold to 34K.) I then installed this mod, which has worked fine for every vendor except Tonilia. Her gold count is correct, meaning she has 10x the amount of gold she would normally have, but she still takes my items and I don't receive any gold for it, nor does her total gold go down. I'm guessing it has to do with the mod I had uninstalled and maybe some residual files, but I don't know how/where to find them or fix it. Any suggestions?

Thank you. Fast traveling to every town just to find enough merchants to sell loot to is stupid.

Bravissimo, ottimo lavoro. Grazie.
Zunymitshu 18 Nov, 2016 @ 1:37am
is this mod safe to add to a game in progress?
Blaank 8 Nov, 2016 @ 9:28pm
So I have to wait 4 days in game to get all the merchant gold back to normal before installing this?

Thank you.

It will give him 200, as the initial amount is multiplied by 10.
egg 22 Jun, 2016 @ 11:19am
I meant, "If my merchant is currently piss poor will this mod make him rich or will he remain piss poor?"
For example: A merchant's starting gold count was 10,000, but now he has 20 gold.
Will this mod give him 200 gold or 100000 gold?
i cLust3R  [author] 22 Jun, 2016 @ 11:09am
I have had it since i made it, and as it is mentioned in the description

UPDATE 14 August 2012: It seems that for players that have increased the gold count for their merchants to over 20 - 25 000 range will have some issues with this mod, as the NPC won't register transactions properly. This mod is not recommended if your merchants main stock is over the mentioned limit and/or have this mod combined with similar mods.

Besides from this, i have not had any errors on my part and i have not heard from anyone other than the mentioned error.
egg 21 Jun, 2016 @ 3:56pm
If I subscribe to this mod after having progressed a bit and meddled with some of the merchants' gold count, will anything go wrong?
Chris Kreider 15 May, 2016 @ 3:44pm
So instead of the merchant paying for the things i sell its making me
Frosty Saiyan 27 May, 2015 @ 9:29am
one of my fave mods
Charlemagne 2 May, 2015 @ 7:18pm
Do merchant perks like investor still work with this mod? Also, will it affect merchants from other mods, or only vanilla merchants?
About the fences problem, I know you can't make different multipliers for different vendors but perhaps making the general mutiplier x7 or x8 instead of x10, it would still be a nifty increase although a bit reduced, for instance instead of 500 street vendors would have 400, instead of 7500 shops would have 6000 which are still decent amounts and you would get rid of the 40000 problem for thief fences.
anthonyjohnadlington 21 Apr, 2015 @ 2:24am
The way i do it i sell them all my stuff till you get the warning about them having no money then buy all my suff back and some times there 150k - 200k in there account
i cLust3R  [author] 20 Apr, 2015 @ 11:55am
@anthonyjohnadlington

The game buggs out over a certain amount. So i would love to do it, but the game is really unstable if i do:/
anthonyjohnadlington 13 Apr, 2015 @ 6:54am
New to this game why cant we have few Merchants with 1-2 million??
Ausar0 26 Jan, 2015 @ 1:35am
great idea, but unfortunately it's not so great when you realize that after a while the fences break and refuse to give you gold when you sell your stuff.
i cLust3R  [author] 22 Oct, 2014 @ 9:22am
I'm glad you all find it useful.

@ anthony_vonbrandt

You can still play your saved games even if you unsubscribe to this mod, so you are perfectly safe there:)

This mod does not change any settings in the save file, only the core game mechanics themselves, which doesn't affect your progress in any way.
mmiwo 21 Oct, 2014 @ 1:29pm
Really usefull mod and its work perfectly!
BrokenHusks 6 Aug, 2014 @ 6:22pm
A must have mod. Cheers mate.
Private Rekker 29 Jul, 2014 @ 8:21am
If I uninstall this mod will I still be able to play my saved games?...also is the uninstall as simple as un-subscribing, or do I need to delete any files??? Thank you, love the mod and it works great but i need to uninstall for now
Stebbi \[T]/ 3 Jul, 2014 @ 3:34pm
What happened is; I subscribed but the mod did not register until i ran the game through steam. I use SKSE, you see. So when i ran it via steam i noticed it registered the mod. Everything is fine now. Thank you for your concern.
Umaroth 1 Jul, 2014 @ 8:33pm
I didn't say anything about similar mods, there are no other similar mods installed. Just when you include this mod in a Bashed Patch, this mod no longer works.

Oh, I see, you thought I was saying I had other mechant mods and none of them worked. No, I only have this one installed, but if I were to uninstall this one and install another one, they would all have the same problem.

Any idea how to fix it? Is there a way to make sure Wyre Bash doesn't undo whatever this mod does?
i cLust3R  [author] 1 Jul, 2014 @ 11:18am
@ Raccoongamer
Easy answer, yes.

@ Mulloy
Thanks!

@ Umaroth
This mod doesn't like other similar mods, as the base value of vendors suddenly have more the one value. So if you have other mods that does the same thing i suggest unsubbing my mod or the others.

@ Plebbi
I just testet with a new and old save, and it works fine here. Have you tried to unsubscribe then subscribe again?
Stebbi \[T]/ 30 Jun, 2014 @ 4:03pm
This doesn't seem to work anymore. I waited 4 days after travelling back and forth for 3.
Umaroth 30 Jun, 2014 @ 12:58pm
When you create a Bashed Patch with Wrye Bash, this mod, along with all the other mods that change the amount of Gold Merchant have, don't work.

Do you know how to fix it?
Mick Mulloy 25 Jun, 2014 @ 6:39pm
Pretty Handy
Bobby_Hill (♀) 22 Jun, 2014 @ 1:42pm
wont this devalue the septim?
ChocolateNoodle 17 Jun, 2014 @ 7:59pm
This is my favorite merchant gold mod. Simple and effective. Vanilla merchants just take too damn long to clear your inventory and all the other economy mods add extra crap or don't increase enough - the economy doesn't need to be a very visible game mechanic.

P.S. to the Author - I would love a version on the Nexus! I'd probably even upload and make it NMM-compatible if you gave me permission. This is literally my only subscribed item on the workshop lol and the Nexus has a much better community.
i cLust3R  [author] 11 Jun, 2014 @ 9:27am
@ Indigot

Read the description, i am aware of this bug but there is no solid workaround around this with this mod. If you have Thieves guild all the way up then you should not need this mod:)

@Timesplitter
Thanks for that, i'll check it out:)
Indigot 10 Jun, 2014 @ 9:51am
awesome mod , but there is one problem .
if you restore the thieves guild to full glory those vendors will have 4000 gold .
4000X 10 = 40 000 which will make their inventory glitch resulting in no costs for selling or buying you should try to lower those vendors to about 6-8 times more gold so that won't happen
Timesplitter 5 Jun, 2014 @ 11:13pm
Skyrim Ultimate RPG Experience: All Expansions thanks you for your mod/mods made that have been implemented into the collection. Jamma77 2 Mar, 2014 @ 3:21am
Yes! No more fast travelling to five different place because I want to sell very valuable loot! Thank you!
wesim 14 Feb, 2014 @ 9:35pm
I mean, the day that someone gets more money selling shit from a cave is the day a merchant needs a new job.
wesim 14 Feb, 2014 @ 9:35pm
You have no idea how long I've been looking for this mod. Merchants are so damn poor.
i cLust3R  [author] 30 Dec, 2013 @ 3:11pm
@ MalXo | ZenotoX

It should work on all merchants, but the problem is with some of them who have increased moneycount from skills and guild progression, one problem is the vendor in thieves guild to mention one. See the description for more details
ZenotoX 30 Dec, 2013 @ 2:50pm
Does this work with Davahdour and the Hideout merchants??
i cLust3R  [author] 21 Dec, 2013 @ 1:28am
@Jester1911
