For example: A merchant's starting gold count was 10,000, but now he has 20 gold.
Will this mod give him 200 gold or 100000 gold?
UPDATE 14 August 2012: It seems that for players that have increased the gold count for their merchants to over 20 - 25 000 range will have some issues with this mod, as the NPC won't register transactions properly. This mod is not recommended if your merchants main stock is over the mentioned limit and/or have this mod combined with similar mods.
Besides from this, i have not had any errors on my part and i have not heard from anyone other than the mentioned error.
About the fences problem, I know you can't make different multipliers for different vendors but perhaps making the general mutiplier x7 or x8 instead of x10, it would still be a nifty increase although a bit reduced, for instance instead of 500 street vendors would have 400, instead of 7500 shops would have 6000 which are still decent amounts and you would get rid of the 40000 problem for thief fences.
The game buggs out over a certain amount. So i would love to do it, but the game is really unstable if i do:/
@ anthony_vonbrandt
You can still play your saved games even if you unsubscribe to this mod, so you are perfectly safe there:)
This mod does not change any settings in the save file, only the core game mechanics themselves, which doesn't affect your progress in any way.
Oh, I see, you thought I was saying I had other mechant mods and none of them worked. No, I only have this one installed, but if I were to uninstall this one and install another one, they would all have the same problem.
Any idea how to fix it? Is there a way to make sure Wyre Bash doesn't undo whatever this mod does?
Easy answer, yes.
@ Mulloy
Thanks!
@ Umaroth
This mod doesn't like other similar mods, as the base value of vendors suddenly have more the one value. So if you have other mods that does the same thing i suggest unsubbing my mod or the others.
@ Plebbi
I just testet with a new and old save, and it works fine here. Have you tried to unsubscribe then subscribe again?
Do you know how to fix it?
P.S. to the Author - I would love a version on the Nexus! I'd probably even upload and make it NMM-compatible if you gave me permission. This is literally my only subscribed item on the workshop lol and the Nexus has a much better community.
Read the description, i am aware of this bug but there is no solid workaround around this with this mod. If you have Thieves guild all the way up then you should not need this mod:)
@Timesplitter
Thanks for that, i'll check it out:)
if you restore the thieves guild to full glory those vendors will have 4000 gold .
4000X 10 = 40 000 which will make their inventory glitch resulting in no costs for selling or buying you should try to lower those vendors to about 6-8 times more gold so that won't happen
It should work on all merchants, but the problem is with some of them who have increased moneycount from skills and guild progression, one problem is the vendor in thieves guild to mention one. See the description for more details
Thats what i thought too:D. But im glad you like it:)
It sucks when a merchant could only pay 200 gold for my Daedric Armor..
You're welcome, glad you like it:)
No problem, glad you like it.
Go right ahead, now you can get back some of the value without being robbed:)
