I loved this mod, but recently, it hasn't been working. It kicks me out of the game. Are you still updating this mod?

It's been a minute, but did some more work today.

Verified the new feature was truly working, and all seems well.

Began work on new feature #2. Some of these modes/names/option things are not documented in the API at all. After a few hours I got what I wanted with a lucky guess as to what the string is supposed to be. Seriously, the luckiest of guesses.

If Starbound was more popular, I'd say someone should tackle proper documentation of the API.

Worked yesterday and today. One new feature is done! Yay...

I'm heading to Ohio to visit an old friend this weekend, so I won't be putting any more time in till Monday at the earliest.

Also, holy shit is this code base a mess. Learning Lua and the Starbound API as I go did not produce very good code. Neither did my several aborted attempts to get this mod fixed. In any case, I'm not refactoring. If performance turns out to be an issue then I might, but otherwise it isn't worth the time. If anyone looks through this code, I'm so sorry. I swear I'm better than this in my native languages.

Finally: I hate Lua.

I've been working on one of the new features since I started again. I started there because it'll probably be the most time consuming; everything else will hopefully take less time.

Today I found I'd have to restructure the way I store authorization data to make the feature work. I did that, which broke everything else. I fixed most of those bugs before I had to call it a night.

Also, I'm dropping one of the things that I'm not sure can be done. It can be done, but it'll be a pain in the ass and one of the new features will make it unnecessary anyway.

So: 0/10 Complete

I don't want to spoil anything, so lets just say I have 10 11 things on my TODO list.
- 2 new features
- 5 UI improvements
- 3 new features I'm not sure can be done
- 1 thing I'm not sure how hard it's going to be

Worked on a new feature and made some good progress.

PS: If anyone can draw and feels like making up a new console animation, please do. I'd like to replace the atrocity I created with something better. An artist I am not.

Here's the scoop and I'm gonna tell ya.

As much as I hate Lua, I'ma work on this again. Apparently a couple of people still want door locks. I'll post an update here whenever I put some work in, so at least everyone is up to date.

From what I remember I've fixed what broke. I need to add a few new features, clean up the UI, and we're good to go.

They are using a outdated version of the penguingui right? I think someone had made a updated version of it on the chucklefish forums.

I love this mod, but the crashing sucks, hopefully soon the update fixing it and possibly adding new features, will be out soon

@sectrix - please worry about triage of this mod before adding more features - the community is already waiting on what you have ready at Feb 18th's post. Anything that fixes this mod would be beneficial. For now I am having to use another mod for my security solutions but it's far from ideal - since it requires me to remember numerical locks.

Please do fix this as soon as possible @sectrix! I keep crashing like mad!

The available version is currently broken. I'm slowly but surely working on it. So far, I've fixed it so they work again like they used to, and am currently adding a few new features. After that, I need to clean up the UI and then I'll release it again, and probably make a post on Reddit when I do.
