I read the page in the description, and all I have to say is I'm sold.

~shrug~ When two words mean the same thing, you use the one that sounds the best. "Electromancy" sounds the best, in line with similar elemental magic words like "pyromancy" or "cryomancy."

Sounds cool and fun, I might pick it up! Love using Voltaic damage/magic. XD But seems that the name could be changed to fit the game a little more, since it doesn't consider electeric damage as electric. Maybe something like Voltaimancy or something like that. But that's just me. XD Either way, good job on the mod, looks good!

If you've already gotten to Lv. 6, you could do the same with 5 skill pts worth of vanilla passive damage skills, just in a mix of different types.

Ok the skills seem perfectly usable, but I'm comparing to Promethean which is also focused on agressive magic, and your volatiac damage and resistance seems really high. Like to the point that you could get this to lv 6 just so your crappy dagger can do 1 slashing and 10 voltaic damage. Maybe it's just me.

@Sapphire Crook ~ I'm glad you're enjoying it. I don't think it's overpowered, considering that if you drop all your skill points into it, you're not levelling any of your other skills, which makes for a very one-dimensional character. If you do, though, then you can avoid that by simply levelling your skills evenly.

I think this is a bit overpowered, especially when gotten early on. That said, the skillset is very enjoyable and quirky. I like it! ^_^

@Sir Hatter ~ Electromancy will get custom pictures when you draw them for me. I'm not an artist ^_^

By the way, any chance of this mod eventually getting custom pictures for the skills? The recycled pictures kinda bug me, and it's not just in this mod that it bugs me, it's in ALL the mods that it bugs me.

@Firestorm Nope, use the link. The official Dredmor forums have the in-game stat icons as emoticons, and my skill descriptions make heavy use of those icons. Plus, I feel it's a way to promote a better method of downloading and organizing mods that doesn't require you to re-download them each time you start the game and doesn't force you to update if you like the old versions better.
