I seem to have a problem with this mod, now the background works fine but the UI on the outfit selection screen is broken. Would apperciate if someone could help me troubleshoot...

@Spycer42 the inventory.res edit was found as a way to make the screen only show up for the inventory screen, and not the unit selection screen. This was also a more recent change, and issue people seem to be having as been happening since I first released this mod.

Nice mod! I have one question though, why did you edit background vmt name in inventory.res instead of just replacing default bg_ingame.vtf?

I think that could be the reason why it's not working, custom inventory.res never works in workshop mods, unless you place it inside custom folder. So all you gotta do is rename your .vtf to bg_ingame and remove vmt and resource/ files

To all those who this isn't working no matter what: Go into Steam/steamapps/workshop/content and look for a folder (should be named a set of numbers) that has a date and time that matches when you subbed to this mod. When you find it copy the contents of the folder and paste them into the custom folder located in steamapps/common/dayofinamy/doi (create a folder called "custom" if you don't have one already and paste it in).

I have ran into this problem before with custum UI, this always works for me and it's how i got this to work just a minute ago.

@Jess Sersosa I am not certain if sv_pure 1 would block custom UI, but I surmise that is does, you could try un and resubbing, but if other workshop stuff is working for you this should as well.

@Industrias yeah I wish I could but unfortunately the game only has one image that is used for all of those screens, so I can't change any without changing them all.

The team selection is a big weird because you can see through the icons but it's great.
It must have been asked before but a different place would be great for each faction (Bunker for the germans, outside in front of an Army trunk for the US or something like that)
Def way better than the original inventory screen as is it now thought already

Do some servers not allow them with just skin/UI modules?

If you're playing on a server with sv_pure 1 then it might not work. Otherwise I have no idea why it shouldn't work

@Francysol3c I am not using any weapon mods right now, I am just using the beta branch, so any changes you see will come to the game upon release of the new update.

It's probably impossible to do but it would be cool if the background changed depending on which map you're playing on.
Either way this looks pretty great.
