This mod is now compatible with Gathering Storm, and it integrates beautifully with it! The natural disasters really contribute to the setting of a grand natural disaster that is the meteor impact. The difficulty increases again a bit, but it is still fairly balanced. Everyone just has to fight a bit harder for resources and safe land.

I'd like to add that it makes game somewhat faster as well. In addition, it allows an interesting option of gathering resources and spying enemies from the icy rim outside habitable meteor crater area.

Great mod for Mac. Unfortunately, this mod does not seem to work on iOS. It causes a bug on iOS where none of your units are placed on the map so you just watch as the AI battles it out.

I cant see rivers when I generate a map with this mod :( They provide fresh water but I cant see them.

I managed to get it working by changing just one line in the config. Bit of a messy quick fix but it works. :)

I don't have Rise & Fall unfortunately, so I cannot test and make it compatible for the addon. If anyone wants to help out and gift it, that would be awesome, and you'd get your updated map script soon! 8)

Hey, I can only seem to get this (and other map script mods) to work if the ruleset is set to standard? If i change it to Rise and Fall the map type just isn't there.

UPDATE! I fixed all incompatibilities with the latest game updates. Mod is now working again and compatible with current game version 1.0.0.167 (296277). Have fun!

Currently still broken. Tested with no other mods installed and still had the problem of no Civilizations spawning at the start. Which I think is a shame because it looked really cool.

When I try to use this map I never spawn and the game just races through the turns. Even with no other mods installed. Does this have something to do with the latest update? I used revealmap to check map generation and it creates a perfectly fine map, just nobody spawns.

@InterKid: I just tested with latest updates on a standard map setup and it worked without problems. Can you please send me a screenshot of your new game setup and the file "Dokuments\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Logs\Lua.log" after the crash? Then I'll have a look.

This mod worked fine the first time I played with it, and it truely is an amazing mod, but when I loaded up CIV today it just crashes the second I try to create a new game. I haven't changed any mods and it just instantly crashes when I make a new game. I hope you can help me fix this because I still want to play this amazing mod!

@mironos: It's possible that both mods replace a specific map generation method that is otherwise not easily changeable. Thanks for letting me know, if have updated the description accordingly.

I'm getting the same issue Patches had, even with the updated version. Just cycles thru turns automatically
