Thats all.
Thank you so much for putting the effort into writing your guide to manually fix these mods. However, it seems your solution may only work partially according to other replies. It also seems that the author may have unfortunately abandoned this mod.
I hate to ask this of anyone, but since you seem to have some modding know-how: would you (or maybe another reader) be willing to recreate these mods? If your time allows, of course. It seems they are pretty widely held as a simple yet essential mod for rebalancing timing of production vs research. I know it would be greatly appreciated by myself and others.
Things move way too fast on that front, and only a single advanced civ can wreck the world with ease.
1- You have to go the folder where the mod is installed. Mine is D:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\289070.
2- There is 2 files there.
"Take your Time - Civic x<Number>.modinfo"
"TYTC2.sql"
The "Number" just depends on the version that you are using so don't worry about that.
Here you will have to open the first file so we can edit it (I recomend to use Notepad++).
That is mine before the update.

Make sure when you enter the game again that the mod is enabled.
Here you have a pic of the mod working. I have my game in spanish since i'm from Argentina. But you can see the turns number that takes to research a Civic/Tech.

Well hope you can all make it work and enjoy :)!
If you have any questions just add me and we can talk!
Don't forget to thank Josh for the mod :3!
Love you everyone♥
I play since the Civilization 1. And I love the tech winning (special start war with tanks when the enemy has only swordsman). But since the Civ3 the tech goes to fast. And in the Civ6 I do not need to build too much campus district, I am still a tech man.
But I missed the middle times, the middle age wars, etc... I had not time to build any middle age army, because the technology was runnig to fast.
But with your mod, I can enjoy the middle time again! Thank you very much! :)
Could you look into it please? This is by FAR the most important mod for me. Even if I only had to choose 1 mod for my games, it would be this!
Do you plan to make a "x10" or a "x20" ? ^^
Everything went by so fast and it wasnt enjoyable at all, but this makes it perfect.
So that is fine to match with Emperor, thank you
