Lookin' for something that allows you to put bounties on people, even innocents and children. - when a bounty is put on someone you can defame them for a crime they didn't commit, or a list of crimes they didn't commit to up the bounty. Then they get removed from any faction where a holds bounty would affect you from killing or assaulting them. and from there you have 3 methods to obtain a reward - wait for the guards to beat up and arrest the individual, take the bounty into your own hands and murder the person as you become a bounty hunter for your own vendetta you posted, or let nature take its course; someone is going to kill them once the bounties been placed.

That'll teach nords to be such racist sh*ts

It worked great once, but having re-loaded it again to try it, I give up. Every time I'm using it after I use the book I get no result and just keep getting assaulted by the town guards. What's the point anymore? Thanks for it while you had it active though.

Even after I uninstall the mod I get constant updates in the corner telling me about time change for the mod. How do I stop this?

sorry GDani i havent worked on this in a LONG time, i believe its something to do with DLC or other mods, it was on the to fix list, but this mod is since dead. i truely wish i had the time to work on it again as it was great fun, but sadly i dont.

Whenever i try to sleep in a bed i get the "serve your time in jail?" bug, is there any way i can fix this?

Hi i wanted to ask is this mod available on nexus and i am to stupid to find it? Because i have a bunch of nexus mods that dont quite work with steam workshop mods therefor i wanted to ask because this seems like an awsome mod

i thought the current bounty and escape from prison system was rather lacking so attempted to add more to it, it was my intention to flesh it out far more but 2 kids and a job has pretty much stoped that dead.

I dont understand the purpose.

Encountered a bug that's probably caused by this mod. I escaped from Solitude jail and erased a 2500 gold bounty. A while later I got stuck on some quests where the quest-objects were missing from the inventory screen. The quest marker would point to NPCs and chests, but the objects wouldn't be there.

The Chidna Mine mission has a similar bug, where the players gets his stuff back after escaping prison, but the game doesn't return access to quest-objects. I managed to solve the bug at the cost of skipping the Chidna Mine quest by writing "setstage MS02 250" in the console.

That's okay, the best thing to do in a situation like this is a hire a team of close collegues.

thanks for the feedback, ive started a new job recently and realy dont have time to keep this mod up to date which saddens me :( but mabey some time will open up in the future.

Hey, @samanoskay : I'd like if you made the books more interactive, such as having every charector in the towns name, and you being able to exhange your bounty and put it onto them. Options: destroy bounty - erase your bounty or a bounty your followers created. Bounty Exhange (give) - any of your bounty you have you can drain from you and raise on another NPC to make guards hostile towards the NPC. Exhange (Trade) - equivuilant exchange both you and NPC bonties, locks at certain intergers, a more risky version of the exchange option. Exchange (recieve) - Take bounty off an NPC or your followers and take full blame, followers are less likely to leave you and will have more respect for you.

HI SCP-JoeyDaggert, have you got any other mods wich change interiors? try loading mine last? perhaps there has been changes to the game since i last updated as i dont keep this mod up to date anymore due to time constraints. i can have a look and if i find anything il get back to you.

Unfortunately this mod conflicted with the "Don't commit crimes"mod. I think its because you removed the bounty for jail breaking.

Sounds like a great mod for theives and people who are tired of the "Arrow to the knee" jokes... Can't wait to try it!

the mod only deals with the players faction bounties, id love to expand it and do tones more but im not a very skilled programmer. im taking a look at its functionality and im thinking of expanding the mod soon.

i have to free boosie in riften the old fashion way, murder then i get em out the cell and clear our names [boosie is a follower named inigo from a great mod(the mod is called inigo for those wondering)}

thats a possability, the books markers are set so that they arent supposed to be able to be picked up, althogh a few people have reported picking them up.

maybe they stoped working because i picked them up...

the book should be ininitly reusable i havent heard of it stop working.

can you make anotherone that makes the books re-usable?

man if only it would make the markarth guards stop coming to me about the forsworn (i had to use tdetect so they couldn't run after me and because it allways freezes when i say take me to jail or pay the fine unless i do the thieves guild bribe thing)

im afraid not mate, the mod dosent change bounties themselfs it just resets the values which must interfere with the other mod :(

I have a higher bounty mod, when it is after this in the load order, I still have the fee for escaping jail. When I have that mod after this one, all the bounties are back to normal. Is there any way to make it so this mod does not set the values back to the vannilla ones?

Maybe when you escape from prison (Hint the door or other exit) you get a quest marker saying to go and remove your bounty

i use the creation kit that bethesda provide, its available to download via steam =) anyone can get modding if u have the patiants, but i u have never worked with code or scripts before, i suggest a few tutorial videos on creation kit and basic "hello world" mods to get u started =)!

thats a little outside the scope of the mod, but im open to adding more to it when im finished with university and have secured a job. theres quite a bit id like to add to it! but havent the time with uni and a baby daughter! =)
