FYI for those players whom can defeat the Antaran early raids.... defeat them too often (say about 6 or 7 times in a row) and if your luck is bad enough, they'll turn up with a decent fleet which includes doom star ... say good bye to a planet lol

What other mods are you using? Does it hang on the first turn, or does it take longer?

Whenever I enable this mod with the 5X it hangs on Antaran turn even though I'm loading it last.

Hopefully someone is still around after all this time :). I had Antaran Victory turned off; but at Turn 85 got Wrecked by them (Their 2 Destroyers and 4 Frigates against my 2 Destroyers and StarBase) of course, my other 4 ships were like 12 and 13 turns away protecting other systems. Okay... Now I'm just gripeing... sorry. So my question is: Since the Antaran Victory was turned off; should they have even attacked? And more to the point; if I use this Mod (and keep the Victory turned off) will that stop the attacks.

I'd hate to wait till my next Turn 85 to find out it won't :(.

This really helped when getting the "mastery" achievements for all races without wasting a tremendous amount of time.

Thank you so much for this mod.

I was about 100 turns into my first game on easy, you know, to start learning the ropes, when out of nowhere the Antarans attacked my homeworld with a fleet about 40X more powerful than my entire space force INCLUDING the stats for all of my star bases and missile bases on ALL of the planets that i owned everywhere.

It was not a fun way to start the game.

Ok. I had it above 5X. The Antaran victory condition is enabled and it does say attacks are disabled. But they still attack. Will a change in load order stop the attacks mid game or do I have to start a new game?

Nothing with the mod has changed. Make sure it's at the bottom of the mod list and that the Antaran victory condition is enabled.

Something changed again - and I don't know what that was, but it's not working again. I'm confused about which order to put mods into to ensure nothing overwrites this mod. Any advice?

Thank you for letting me know. They changed the Antaran settings file, so I'll need to update this. I'll have it done shortly.

This mod does not seem to be working anymore, the only thing that changed for me is the game updates to 55.1.1

It worked fine with the previous game version 54.11

Just so you know Spud Dastardly, it was that mod that caused this one to not work...so its working now with that mod removed....since as you said, its pointless to have since they never attack in the first place.

Very true....i wish the attacks were more....balanced, where they attacked the other races as well, like in MoO2...instead of the race with the highest score.

The one that modified the fleet sizes is almost certainly the problem. If you're going to have this mod active, then you won't need that mod active since they won't be attacking.

Yeah, i do have other antaran specific mods, one of which just makes a trait available and along with it buildings, but is mod friendly and otherwise doesn't affect the attacks, the other mod modified the fleet sizes of the attacks, so maybe that was the problem?

I will check it out now.

I just ran a test game for 250 turns and didn't get any attacks. Are you using any other mods?

It doesn't work for me...on turn 88, i got attacked by 4 destroyers and 4 cruisers of antaran design...
