Then at the very bottom of the event create a Label for the event to jump to. That will fix the book from repeating.
As for the game freezing after you kill the soldiers, you need to find the map the scene takes place in. It is located in the "England" section in the maps list. Open the pluses until you find a map called Pursuit. Then click on the Adele sprite which will open the event. Scroll down till you find some code that has the Priest moving right several times at Speed:5.
Click on the code to see the movement sequence, and what you need to do is check the "Skip if Cannot Move" box. That'll keep the game from freezing.
Hope this is clear; please message me if you need more help.
The music is form the Crusader King series.
You might want to do a full playtest here to fix all of the bugs. Between the two I've run into and the one already reported here, you've got at least 3 game-breaking glitches in the first 2 hours or so of gameplay. This game has a remarkable story and setting, and I'd hate to see it fail due to bugs. I'm very curious to find out where Leothric's story goes!
Reporting a bug: When I use the book "Mohammed and His Islam," trying to close the book does NOT close it. Instead, I get a long message about Jews, popes, and the beginning of the First Crusade, after which I am returned to the original book menu. Hitting "cancel" has the same effect as choosing the "close book" option, so that there is no way out of the menu, making this a game-breaking bug.
Scroll down until you see the part where the script calls for the Under the Castle.bgm, and then simply delete it, or replace it with a song called "And the Lord Said" by pressing the space bar on that "Play BGM" command, and then selecting "And the Lord Said" from the list.
Hopefully that will allow you to continue.
