Oh... I was excited there. Been looking for "freebuilds" on other maps then the desert. But with no intruders it's a bit too easy. Any chance you can upload another with standard danger and accident settings? It's hard to find a good non-desert or non-"earth-like" map mod.

sorry dankstreetTiger i realised i left a lot of comments from you unanswered and noone else had answered them either. thats a bit rude of me tbh i sent you a friend request to apologise and see if i could help you with something tbh ive pretty much forgotten how it all goes now so i probably wouldnt have been much help anyhow.

Im australian we're known for disgusting jokes about new zealanders and sheep. swearing at someone is often more of a compliment here so i may just be rude by birth or something and i have no idea of internet codes of acceptable politically correct behavior etc tbh

apologies to unanswered people i've been a little preoccupied. karphenny mines are a little tricky to place you need to move the cursor with the blueprint around quite a bit on varying slopes of the hills before it will find an acceptable place it will go.

they would keep working till they starve with out even going to a canteen or there o2 ran out so thats how there working to death

Hi thres some good guide for planetbase in the guide section here onsteam. your problem of starving colonists is common and will be answered one way or the other there in the guides. sorry its been a while since i played so I cant remember all the reasons they wont prepare meals. Basically only carrybots and workers carry food to the meal makers so more carrybots is the first and most common solution.

As for working to death - are there enough beds for everyone? you need one per worker coz they all tend to sleep at the same time.

Love it, but too much Bioplastic and Metal in the beginning. I recommend 200-300 instead of 2000 each. Also less medical supplies.

Good lord. Do you need someone to chew your food for you as well? You've stripped out any challenge in the map. Just play Minecraft in creative mode..

one tip - don't upload them to the workshop when you're not sure they're ready. In your users/name/documents is a planetbase folder. inside that is a challenges folder. Put the xml and it's corresponding en_whateveryouvecalledit file in there and they'll show up in your game (under challenges of course). If you've made a mistake, the challenge won't open and it'll tell you what line and position your mistake is, which is very handy.

Not uploading to steam saves heaps of time, and you can then upload it when you're happy with it. My first campaign I uploaded over and over not realising I could just put it in the challenges folder myself. Saves heaps of time waiting for the mod to upload to steam and then having to subscribe again etc.

If you'd rather not, I have a post in the discussion board at the moment offering to create challenges for anyone who wants one. Post what you'd like in that thread and i'll make you a challenge. Still read the guide however, to get an idea of what's possible to do with the game.

making new maps is done by editing xml files which you can download from the 'creating challenges' guide here on steam. It's not hard - you can simply copy paste from existing files (which the guide provides) and alter figures and such to please yourself. I have little experience in modding, but i can read and type and that's all you need to know.

If you want to make your own challenges, read the guide and have a go - don't be put off - it's not that hard to do.

Is there an editor for this game ? I don't see one - i mean so i can edit my own map ???
