It depends from game to game. Physboxes are clientsided, but death points are server sided. So it could be adjusted only if devs made it, and as far as I know - they didn't.

Would you know if theres a way to make it so ragdolls don't disappear on any server? Ragdols are client sided so there must be a way right?

I just want to chime in and also say I'd love to see this fixed. Tried it before, great mod!

You could also do a fixed re-release with partial support for the models you already did.

I guess if you really wanted you could just wait and try once they are finished with the playermodels.
Sure that may be a few months to maybe a year but ehh worth thinking about :v

There are many reasons why this probably wouldn't be fixed.
1) There are too many new playermodels and it takes a lot of time to recompile them all.
2) They are adding new character models and I would need to recompile them all the time.
3) NWI changed physics and now this ragdolls works different from before. Already not that cool.
4) Some reason after recompiling eyes are white.

cool thanks FAvkis will give it a jam. ps whats the chances of dismembering limbs e.g such as legs and arms with only with the mg? it takes quite a few bullets to achive it and its only when there dead? would make this mod intense?

I think I fixed crashes with dismemberment, but now characters has white eyes, so waiting untill I would understand how to fix eyes.

Go to the game options and disable dismemberment/gore.

Be cool if the injury mod could be combined with dismembering. Watch the occasional amputee trying to crawl for cover as you run passed the aftermath of a well placed grenade

to be honest Ive had to pick this mod over dismemeberment. I had rants about this since the early access when it first came out and i still will have to wait on the final stages when they say its no longer a beta. I would have comprimised the lame ass ragdoll effects if DOI had the ability to destroy walls from the likes of tom clancys siege six. you know I wouldnt mind having the abilit to pick up a limb and melee somone with it that would be hillirious. thanks again favkis I guess back to DODS

Unsure about how the gore system works in DOI but aren't they just bodygroups or something?

If someone would say me how to correctly decompile DOI models without missing gore includes/or write an article about how to make gore for DOI (I mean in .smd and other decompiled files) - I would fix crashes with dismemberment. Untill that moment - I can't do anything about it.

Thanks heaps ths has been a let down in the game shame you cant have dismberment at the same time :( hmmm dods ragdoll effect is much better than csgo. I like what youve done and you maybe the reason why Id probably play DOI. I guess the pyhsics needs to correspond with the impact when firing. I wonder if you could make adjustments so that when using the buzz saw you could tear limbs appart. hopefully you can have both dismemeberment and ragdoll DODS styles and that would be epic. its a shame because in DODS you could headshot people and knock the helmets off and the fun bit was the ping everytime you would hit the helmet which is the great experience in the game. its a real shame this game had so much edge but its lacking in the pyhsics department. which imao is say worth 60% of the game play experince. I love the feel intense moments. Good effort will be looking at more of your works :)

Well, dead people doesn't do "star" poses. If you get shot fatally, you arms will drop near you, if you get shot nearly to death, but die anyway, you will still keep your arms near you. Same goes for legs.

I checked it, it looks very much like CS:GO ragdolls, I still don't like them, cause they don't have realistic "star" pose deaths. I mean, it's not really realistic, but still, much more pleasant.

Well They drop a lot faster, but there's no more corpses with weird poses. Dead people now actually look like they should. It's f*cking awsome.
