the spirit wolf as been added to ACP
(not sure if ADS will work on it, but presuming because horses are in there, and im able to add bionic hearts to them im guessing it should be fine for spirit wolves to get bionic hearts aswell)

You should updateee this because as much as the big animal collab project is cool, There are sometimes when I would prefer to play a game without a hundred differnt types of animal skins and meats littering my floors. This is really the only reason I use that pack, because most other animals are too fragile to be worth breeding (and like you, I hate the thrombos), and vanilla has sufficent animals for animal products.

I'm praying that you do update this soon :( This mod was a needed thing since I'm not the person for thrumbos...lets just say I have a never ending war with thrumbos since i first played rimworld and will never forget that XD. GAME ON THRUMBO!:steamhappy:

Ghost, you can change that yourself. Go find the mod in Workshop and copy it into the Rimworld mod folder instead. Then you can change the settings to your hearts content.
I have limited them to 3 on the map.

Please, please, please make them more rare. Spirit Wolfs should be as rara as Thrumbos, not as common as rabbits.


I had like 9 on my map at one point, and only got rid of some of them when a huge army of tribs people fell into my kill box, and attrackted the hungery spirit wolfs. Which by this point had eaten like all the wild life.

So yeah, started a tribal game... Three spirit Wolves near us. One ate both of my dogs and then downed all five tribes people. I was not stupid enough to attack it directly, but it got in the way when the scripted 'mad animal' event happens. They're absurdly tough!

These things breed like rabits! I had 1 male and 1 female and within 3/4 of a year she had 5 pups and is pregnant again!

i didnt hunt them and i dont even play vanilla now but they attacked me when all of the smaller animals were eaten and they were hungry

I have to agree that they are a bit OP when you just start out. Maybe make them a bit more rare then they currently are @Xen. Its a spirit wolf. King of the hill. They should not spawn in packs of 5 or more ;) Just my 5 cents about it

yeah you should.



and do smoething so with they being on map because i can handle one spirit wolf trying to eat my whole colony but THREE? HOW THE F%@K AM I SUPPOSED DEFEND AT THE START AGAINST THREESPIRIT WOLVES. Its super cool idea,dont get me wrong i like wolves,but they are unnstoppableat the start of the game.
BtW in late game they are priceless but its almost impossible to start with them

lol yeah - It's kinda inferred by the fact they are based on Thrumbo - thrumbos eat a lot. Though you don't notice as much since they eat trees/grass.

I did reduce their appetite by a bit since they eat meat/kibble - but they're big, so they kinda should eat a lot.

I probably will make a little note about them eating a lot.

got problem too when one of the wild Spirit wolfs ate my whole colony because There was no wild animal left :D

I really like the spirit wolf, it is just ...
THEY EAT ALL MY LIFESTOCK

I know i know setting up a enclosure for them

maybe add a lil note in the description about the increased difficulty for the early game.

@BlueZombie no problem - make sure you sub to the patch! I made it seperate, so people without ADS don't get errors etc.
