I've recently started trying to use this module for TTS.

I've noticed that while loading the module, there's a couple error messages. The screaming antelope reward and setup cards link to a small black box that throws an error, says it's not enough data.

Also, some items are linked to a series of drop box files. The files are not found on the drop box. this comes up when loading expansion monsters. IE spidicules links to an OBJ file on dropbox. That file doesn't exist if I follow the link.

appears to be a problem with all the expansion monsters in the big black box. Any chance that these files can be set to a local file? that way the mod isn't reliant on web services?

There's also an issue with some of the table graphics. The picture host Picblaze. That file host has gone under and is no longer working. This leads to red textures on the table top. Not game ending, but not ideal.

Chalk me up as another vote for a bag of basic decks. I only want to play with the expansions that I'm using for a campaign, and it's easier to add a few expansions than to subtract the rest. Thanks for your awesome work!

I want to thank you for this great update to the basic KDM Scripted. The 1.5 cards make the game more balanced and interesting. I would really like to have just the basic game set up. Its pretty annoying to sort out all the stuff you do not want to play with. Further you could put the claw card in the tutorial aside. This would make make starting the game faster. The reduced RAM load is working really good. Thanks for this work.

You shouldnt be having any! How much memory do you ahve to start with? Also sometimes TTS isnt the best at clearing memory if youve opened other things in TTS since you last relaunched it

Getting a lot of crashes becaues of too much memory, is there any way to reduce memory use further?

Rawhide is in the Skinnery settlement location and that's in the Lantern Hoard settlement location in the top left. The gear is mostly contained inside of the location you build it at.

Hey, just played a game with the dung beetle knight expansion and the DBK resource cards weren't added with the scripting. they're in the DBK showdown bag, but they aren't automatically adding themselves to the table :X

Glad it works again!

For the core game ones, the settlement locations are bags with them inside, for the expansion monsters, theyre in the Expansion Monster Chests" bags which correspond to the monster. All rare gear is in the same pile from all the expansions too and thats in the Lantern Hoard along with the locations!

I cant find some of the pages for the expansion creatures (IE slenderman's dark place) am I being blind? :X Also, the expansion monster booklets have the numbers showing what page they are on the opposite side to the pages themselves which confused me a bit. Thanks for making an awesome mod! :D

Ahh i see the missing ones now. They came up for me saying they were missing but try just clicking "Import" on the thing that pops up, i can fiddle with it a bit later too if needed.

because the scripted version also loses 1 monster dot everytime i load the game so i had to put the stuff in a new bag then it works.

GOOD LORD! This took me 4 hours to do. Jeez. At any rate. I made tokens for tracking survival actions and movement. Since you can only do the survival actions once per turn, flip these over to reveal an X and show you used it on your turn. There is also a red X infinite token bag for put on things you can't use. Example: Shattered Jaw = you cannot encourage. Drop it on the encourage token and you won't forget.

I can upload this mod to friends only and you can snag whatever you like out of it, or save it in this state if you like and upload a copy. It took me forever to import and rearrange the survivor sheets with Eskanders versions. I sent you a friend request.

I'm the guy that supplied all the expansion books by the way. :) Just scanned in all the missing art and got it over to Eskander. Looking fwd to getting that in too once he gets the book machine going for it.

@Rinion - I'm about to design something else that will vastly help with tracking things. I'll upload all my changes to a workshop in a bag, If you want to put them off to the side for people, that's cool, so they have access.

Thats pretty neat, actually! I know people as a first timer have some difficulty remembering all their strength bonus' and stuff or if they have accuracy or not. Chuck it up on the workshop perhaps? Wary of adding more stuff to here, like i didnt just include my promos right away, want at least the base version here to be a memory friendly as it can =p

@Rinion - good idea, I think I'll just go with leaving them all in.

I created a small board for keeping keeping track of your current weapon stats. It uses the Number tiles from Nognoth's original mod so you can quickly see how many dice to roll, what you need to hit, to damage and to critical. Here is a screen shot with Eskanders surv sheets and how I do my set up. I like the card row board at the top so I can see all of the fighting arts and disorders currently on my survivor that effect combat.

The number tiles are states, so you can change them as needed.

@RayneUltimate - Any specific errors you're getting? Are you playing on a Mac? I know those have some specific problems too.

@maximo1984 - Had thought about!. When playing phsyically I know most people leave in all Disorders and Fighting Arts. Most of them arent themed or ruin the immersion, motion sickness, overprotective, delicious etc. Theres only two I can think of, Tiny Arachnophobia and Flower Addiction, that might cause issue in that they have no interactions wihout their expansions. Usually leaving them in adds more varierty as it more than doubles those two decks.

Perhaps instead i could put a bag somewhere with just the base game Fighting Arts and Disorders if you want to swap the decks? Terrain i think i have to leave with the extras as the scripting doesnt like when you mess with that particular deck.

Do you have every single disorder, fighting art ,, etc mixed altogether? I think this is a bad choice as you only add the specific expansions to those decks when you are playing the expansions. To give a more cohesive story, sometimes survivors gain random disorders, etc. If we gain a random disorder from an expansion we are not playing, it doesn't suit the them of the current game very well.

@Raynel - How about being constructive and alerting him to what specific errors you were getting so it can be fixed. I guess its' easy to just leave a shitty comment on a mod that probably took well over 200 hours to make.

@Jerk0ff - Inside the big black box at the back is a bag called Expansion Monster Chests, inside those should be the rulbooks for them and any misc things you need, settlement locations, some associated gear and theres also monster tokens you dont really need as the scripting should take care of those.
The start of each of the minibooks will tell you where they go on the timeline! Each one has its own story into event you add on there.

Rinion. I really love the work you've done here. the auto hunt and showdown scripting helps alot, plus the layout is much easier to follow through the varied phases of the game. In fact the work largly done by everyone involved with kingdom death on tts is the reason why my bank act is $1700 lighter last month lol.

However, my only issue is with the expansions. As someone who has never used one, is there a way to understand what goes where, as well as any story events or rulebooks in your mod? I'm pretty confused as even the showdown setups don't have any rules regarding setups for expansions...

Magic! Also saw your other comment for the original mod, decided to move the Special Terrain like the Stage and Gate to the monsters Special AI decks. Makes their setups not as automatic but saves people from having to redraw terrain or worry about all of that

One thing I'd love to know, is how on earth you got the initial number of objects loading in the 400's. Mine is currently at 680 and slowly rising.

Placing the Spidicules quarry on the hunt pad causes the hunt setup to only place down the first 5 hunt cards.

Looks like it's getting confused by the Forest Gate card
