@isaac8244 have you tried the NPC Enhancement mod? I know there's a couple scripts floating around that send drones on patrols, engage anything they see along the way, and then auto-dock to recharge and re-arm. I can't name one offhand, but I know there are a couple that might work for you if you dig :)

I did and it looks interesting, but I don't play in the dev branch. Prefer to have my stuff work for as long as possible before it's broken by updates.

timers are relevant to the world's sim speed, hence why they aren't consistent per player.

im pretty sure their is already a script out there that will let them run around by themselfs as well as land all from a single text panel i think

I am glad the hotfix worked. I wouldn't know where to start with trying to make them land again, especially since the openings on the roof are a tight fit to get them through. Maybe using GPS waypoints it could be done. But anyways, glad you enjoy it.

Awesome build, after increasing the drone height as suggested, all 6 launches beautifully. Now i just want them to land again somehow. OP Please get into scripting and make this complete. Easily the best BP i've gotten from the workshop so far.

If you don't know what it is then you are probably not using it, meaning you are in the stable branch. I'm not sure how to help you because I can;t replicate your problem.
