Can you remove Rockvir from the protected list of NPC please?

Warning!!! Subcribe to this mod after entering in Solitude for the first time. Otherwhise Rockvir's execution will never end and the NPCs in Solitude will be frozen, you will never be abale to speak to them.
Exepted from this it's a good mod.

Please what is this mod file called? I subscribed by accident and want to uninstall but I can't find it in the list (have +200 mods and some have names that don't tell you what they are).

awesome idea but it needs to be adjusted. some npcs need to be killed by other npcs. It can ruin some of the quests imersion factor and make others be unable to be completed.

This mod need to be fixed ._. I can't even do reparing the white phial quest. It made Nurelion essential and I can't get the white phial. You should set some quest npc non-essential ASAP...

Don't use this mod. It does it's job, but it does it's job too well. In the quest "Forsworn Conspiracy" you're going to have to talk to Thonar in the Treasury House and his wife is supposed to be killed after you talk to Thonar, but with this mod she doesn't get killed as the other NPCs don't kill her as she gets into the bleedout position.

So this uses the "protect" command that stops other NPCs from directly attacking an NPC that is in bleedout? if so, is it susceptible to the bug where the protected NPC can still die by way of AoE spells and delayed power attacks or poison?
For example, if a dragon is attacking Whiterun (probably only possible with a mod... could just be a big mage fight too with AoE spells), and some of the citizens are bleeding out (on one knee), if they take damage from the dragon spitting fire on nearby fighting citizens/guards, will they die?

@Uncle Sam, all subscribing does is give you automatic updates and a shortcut back to the mod page on Steam. If you want to remove the mod from your game, you need to go into your Data Files (accessible from the Skyrim Loader) and either deselect it or delete it. Your choice. Deselecting will just mean that the game doesn't load the script, but it saves the mod in your Data Files. Deleting is obvious about what it does. You might get a warning about dependancy issues for previous saves, but a mod like this won't cause any because it doesn't spawn any proprietary NPCs, quests, or items. Hope this helps.

Not to mention, the Foresworn Conspiracy quest is incompletable with this mod. Also, even after unsubscribing, the mod still seems to be active. This is quite irritating... any advice on how to irradicate it while the exceptions are being made?

Also, I need a professional modder, if you're interested, that can make a very well balanced magic spells collection that will fit perfectly with the orginal Skyrim spells. I am looking for spells that are very well balanced, do not cost too much magicka, are not too overpowered (powerful), and must make sense being added into the game by even Bethesda itself. The spells must be used with perks (adept, novice, etc.), must be logically categorized for a school of magic (Destruction, Conjuration, etc.), must be sold by the correct vendors when the certain school of magic reaches a certain skill point (At 50 destruction, new books are available for purchase by all Destruction trainers that can train you past 50 Destruction), and MUST fit in will with the rest of Skyrim spells. Btw, thx for the mod and please keep updating it. I look forward to seeing your updates and improvements.

Hey, Great Job on the mod. Just wanted to let you know to keep up on all the updates and improvements of your mod for I am using it in the top rated collection at the moment. Check out "Skyrim Top Of The Line RPG Experience Guaranteed". Been working on it 24/7 and definitely plan on keeping it as up to date as possible with all mods added in the collection.

I checked and yes, that NPC is essential in Vanilla. In other news, I returned to Solitude and Roggvir was standing next to where he was supposed to have been executed. I was able to kill him myself, but being executed probably should have done that. I also had another problem... During the College quest, you enter a dungeon and there is a dying man just inside, Gavros Plinius. He is supposed to say a few last words and then die as directed by the quest, but he didn't. I had to kill him myself, since he possesses a key that is required for quest progression.

To finish Roggvir's execution leave solitude and come back before they cut of his head. The guards will be searching for someone, so I advise you to stay back until they stop searching.

NPCs should be protected and not essential. Are you sure that NPC is not essential in Vanilla?

I am having the same problems... for me, the thief at the beginning eventually dies, but I sometimes have to wait like five minutes while the guards shoot him repeatedly and he just stands there. Also, the execution scene in Solitude does not kill correctly. I think it would be nice also if the player could kill whoever they wanted. I wanted to kill a shopkeeper who caught me pickpocketing and she wouldn't die because she is a Quest NPC. They should be protected from other NPCs, but not the player.

@tobyj It will not be easy, but for this mod you would need to ad exceptions for all of the NPCs that are supposed to get killed by other NPCs or by natural causes. The execution victim's name is Roggvir I beleive, but I also had issues with the white phial quest where the alchemist, Nurelion, would not complete because he could not die in the sequence(he fell over out of bed, kneeled for a few secs, then ported back into bed. It would have been funny if it didn't prevent the quest completion).

The character in the intro is called Lokir of Rorikstead. He is the thief that got captured trying to cross the border. Good luck changing the data to make these things non-issues. Thanks for your hard work too!

Subscribed to this mod and the thief thats tries to run away in the opening sequence gets shot over and over by the guards and never dies - thus the rest of the scene doesnt play out. Not good.

Also for the execution scene in solitude, the character gets his head cut off....and doesn't die. The whole town sits and stares at the headless guy and refuses to move away. Kill command does not work, very annoying.

@Killer Jester - entering then exiting any building/cave/etc will stop this message. Also @tobyjthis addon does need to be modified for quests where NPCs are supposed to kill other NPCs like when Briget Silverblood is supposed to be killed by the Nanny character in "The Forsworn Conspiracy." I managed to make it work by killing her myself and then running outside, not sure if this will always work.

You experienced a bug from the vanilla version of the game. This mod doesn't change the essential property of any characters.

I didn't make any accusations, i just said what was happening in my game. i already looked at that webpage and i tried everything it said and it still didn't work and it's never been a problem before i subscribed to this mod

This doesn't make anything essential, only protected. Protected means it can't be killed by NPCs only.

Stricknine, Just get Signus's Base ID by putting in "Help Signus" into the console.
Once you have the Base ID, put in "Setessential (Base ID) 0"
He should die after that.
