I wouldn't have given them higher agility, as that doesn't seem realistic. Perhaps just make them have slightly lower stats, but cheaper upkeep or morale boosting gear.
Women in tribal iron age warfare were used to deliver supplies (such as replacement shields) on the battlefield, which meant that at least some degree of combat experience would've been highly beneficial.
Good mod idea. I think it'd be interesting if priests, or any troop really, can be upgraded to a badass unit like "armed preachers" or Berserker, Ulfhedinn and a new Svinfylking (boar warrior).

Women did fight for Scandanavian pagan tribes. Also for germanic tribes too when they were still a thing. There were actually laws, showing that if a man ran away from a battlefield without being given the order, then he'e be exectued. But if a woman ran away from a battlefield, she would not be executed.

P.s. for people struggling to get this to work, you need to copy the file troops.txt from the xxx\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\48700\838756121 folder to the xxx\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules\Viking Conquest folder and then launch the game as normal (not with mod).

Blackops you have to remember that Shieldmaidens did not actually fight that much, they were like squires of knights.

You should add a version that's compatible with VC Balance Mod since it's pretty much a standard at this point. "Patch for troops and items for 8.0 or Beta 9.0" has a troops.txt that seemingly would be pretty easy to edit in your changes as they only affect one troop.
