this tactic ain't working for me. 7 games, 2 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses. 8 goals scored. Do I need to change anything to get this tactic right? I'm using AC Milan.

Not exactly hard with a team like Barcelona, maybe you should of tried with a lower team!!

I'd like Guardiola to prove me wrong and be able to dominate in the English Premier League like he has done with Barca and Bayern but i just dont see it. The league is too tough to be able to dominate with just tiki taka football. By the way City's current fullbacks were regulars under Pellegrini and Clichy was also under Mancini (other one, right back Bacary Sagna)...plus they have Kolarov and Zabaleta to back them up and probably others that i dont know of. Fullbacks arent a problem, no position is a problem...Guardiola can have no excuses in terms of playing staff to choose.
Injuries, suspensions and loss of form effect all clubs and you're talking about Toure being old but look at Ibrahimovic...34 and scored 10 goals in 10 games for United. Kompany has always been injury prone all the time he's been at City and with the other players in midfield City have, should still be doing fine without Gundogan.

Guardiola isnt all that. Now he has a more proper challenge managing in the English premier league (though still at one of the best clubs in the prem) he's finding out what its like not to have the by far best and most dominant team in the league like he had at Bayern and even more so with Barca.

His philosophy suited Barca as they had and arguably still have the best technical players in europe, but now he's finding out his philosophy wont always work. The best managers play to their players' strengths. 4-0 Everton? oh dear! lol i can see him losing his job at City maybe not this season but next.
