Testing the pleb version and it seems to work.

I had high expectations but it only makes some popping sounds like if there was some crazy big suppressor on. In one game I joined a custom server with "armory expanded" and the MG42 nearly ripped my ears and headset off with gun fire but all the normal weapons just go "p p p p p p p". I suspect something has bugged at my end.

If anyone else have had same experience and a fix please tell.

Just a note, Dont download the PTSD mod. It makes every other gun sound mod sound like the gun is suppressed. Other than that, Great mod!

Dude, go back to previous sounds, those new one sounds wierd and not that realistic imo

I'm looking into adding more character and beef to the sounds, but the new audacity version exports wavs that crash the game

I've tested many sound mods on the workshop and this one turned out to be the best. +rep for making it

oh no i found a fix? i guess if you subscribe to another individual sound mod for a weapon it overwrites the individual weapon sound, so I'm good for the sniper and pistol

I don't really like sound mods where you are required to download every single sound individually so I did this. Unfortunatley when I finish a sound with audacity it crashes the game. Never did before, does now. I dunno man, you could unpack it and remove the sniper sund if you wanted.

Been playing around a couple of days with these sounds, and idk, but they don't sound very satisfying to me. Is there a way to put your weapon sounds individually? Or must it all come in a pack like this? I just really don't like the pistol and sniper sounds.

The reload sound is there, I've not checked the 3rd person suppressed sound or any of the 1911 sounds but I'm guessing they're the same.

I've tried reloading the sounds with snd_restart and also tried re-subscribing but the issue persists. Just thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to fix it for the next update.

I used the same base sounds for both games, but I don't want to just re-use the exact same sounds when I make a mod (that would be lazy and boring)

It'd be nice if you could add some of the sounds from the Day of Infamy version of this mod, as there is alot of reuse of certain sounds (the '5.56' and '9mm' sounds). Maybe use the sounds of the Browning Hi-power for the Makarov or the Lewis gun for the Galil. Just an idea.

actually man, if you are doing a full conversion, I would recomend using this version because it has adjusted audio levels and makes explosions really stand out. you'll have to unrestrict soundmixers.txt on your servers though.

yeah, the volume levels used in insurgency and doi are far to skinny, I will upload the "dream" eddition for insurgency and show you what I mean.

I like explosion sounds are pretty weak for me, even when the volume is up.

the explosion of the RPG and Bazooka doesn't have any sound. However it only happens in single player, in multiplayer all the sounds work hahaha
