If I can make a suggestion, add a flex slider for stretching the model.

ummm it's the simple things that tend to be the most useful but this cylinder isn't very flexable.
if you could make it so we could stretch it to make it long and thin or squish it so it's short and fat, it then could be used for all sorts of things.
