I wouldn't know completely since I got into the game late... ^^;
I'd loved to have experienced the game back in its heyday, especially since I have a love for AG Combat Racing (or just Racing in general, lol).

This is eight years old and all assets are depreciated, do you think that even within the bounds of what's possible, that this could happen?

Nice work on the ships, though I do want to ask if you plan to include weapon damage to the ships since their firepower and shielding are currently zeroed out.

That's partly why I made these: Fusion was a good game, had some great ship designs and great tracks, but the physics system makes it too different for most to get on with. Having them handle in two more accepted ways makes them far more palatable!

Well for the most part it's a waste of time, given that people can import the assets from disc. I get what you mean, though. I've always wanted to make some high-quality models of the ships from the original three that'd be on the same detail level as the ships in HD. Someday, that'll happen!

I'll figure out what's causing it at some stage, once they're finalised with their own cockpits, I'll be making them into a combined file, if possible. :)

the icarus i did with the wipeout 3 model was super far forward (THE SHIELD CLIPPED THROUGH THE COCKPIT GOD DAMMIT) but yeah

Those images are set when you initially make the .shp file; you can see that the textures are much older. Something similar happens with the stats as well; they're not what the game says they are.

oh dont worry - as far as the camera goes just modify it in increments of 0.5.

i used the wipeout 3 Icarus model and mucked about with the stats to get an idea of what some of them do, i'd say take the camera value and if it is positive, take 0.5 off it, and add 0.5 if it is below zero.

give that a shot and see if it looks better. it might just be me but it looks a little far back. compare it to the pirhana and youll see what i mean

@Blaze The Fox don't look now, but the spine text got mirrored. I'm still learning the stats system so things like camera distance are a bit of a mystery. :)

I used 3DS Max and a mix of Substance Painter and Photoshop for texturing. To get the structure right I used the blueprint images floating around, but those aren't proportioned right so I've got the game running in an emulator to get them. :)
