Yeah sorry mate this is abandoned, Keen completely modified they way this stuff works and I'm not that interested in fixing it, would rather be coding up other mods :D

Masters can take a couple of years, so 12 months could be too soon

i have a bug or something i followed your in installations but when i started the campaign it says downloading of the mod has failed check mod in world settings

Nah.

Keen broke the Campaign system long ago, its currently getting some love along with the Scenario tools and the Survival overhaul, so when that comes out, it might work again :D

The mod 781741065 and referring to the Nanite Control Factory mod, it can be replaced by mod 655922051 by changing the file Sandbox.sbc "Campaigns \ NPP_Campaign \ Worlds \ NPP \ Sandbox.sbc".
You will find this file inside 827194725.sbm.
And easier to create a folder within% APPDATA% \ SpaceEngineers \ Mods \ "with the name nitroplanet, this folder will appear on the Campaigns tab as the local folder.
You start inside a station, more if you die wrath to the attacked station and in this case ends up giving error.

@nitro0520 one of the mods no longer exist on the workshop, delete the modItem with name 781741065 from the mods list inside the "save folder" the game will create once you try to start the campaign. i have no idea what that mod was, or if the campagin "needs" it to run...

They have done a lot of changes since I made this, I havent looked at it for a long time, lol, I wouldn't be surprised if somethings broken with it by now.

Yep, you set it under 'Campaign Properties' in VS - same place where it asks you for the name, difficulty etc when making a Campaign Script.

Oh I should further add that thanks to a conversation I've had this week with a Keen developer, hopefully the pathing issue will be rectified in August fixes so pathing for Campaigns will work properly :D

Yeah its still a bit of a learning curve with very little documentation and to be honest support from Keen is pretty crapola in regards to Visual Scripting issues.

They have great support for proper Programmers using the API - but for scrubs like me that need to use VS its very hard to get ANY help at all and its still very buggy, the program you use constantly locks up and has trouble opening even the Official Campaign scripts.

There have been some great people on Keen's discord that have helped me out from Keen themselves but to be honest I have a strong feeling from the conversations I've had that VS is really on the back burner while they work on optimizations which is probably the right tactic to take at this time anyway (since they are awesome - those new loads times are <3) just sucks for me while trying to make stuff :D

I'm working on something new anyway, I'll upload it when im done :)

It's too bad this is abandoned, the game could really use more player-made campaigns, maybe it'll be easier for content creators some day

Seams like broken. I Think an Elevator is missing and there is a gigantig hole in the bottom of the station. I Suppose that hole shouldn't be there. Also no scripts are working. I tried both steps you mentioned above, but none seams to work.

Wow, no idea sorry, it works fine on my computer, maybensend your log to Keen and see if they can assist? Theybare usually pretty responsive and they are looking for feedback on Visual Scripting issues.

You can catch them directly on their Discord channel sometimes as well, I approached one of the developers on there and he helped me out with some VS stuff :)

Tried to load a save after 2nd death. I am dying and crashing before getting respawned.

@Stollie - your campaign seems to be working and looking fine, but there is a big problem. I am getting stuck when space stations escapes from that battle at the begining, and then I need to kill all those drones that are attacking station. I managed to kill about half of them, but when I die, game is crashing. Not really crashing, it throws me to desktop, while the game becames like a background process, can't open it again since it is not a window anymore, while still being visible in processes, weird stuff :)
But after I kill the processs, run the game again, I have save a file on the moment when I died, and I just respawn and can play further. And when I died again, same stuff happened, like it was before. Pretty annoying thing.
Any ideas where there issue might be ?
I quess that if I die, then I should just respawn, right ?

I've done a quick conversion this morning to a LevelScript, you can subscribe to the world at http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=840321622

For some reason the 'RemoveEntity' functions wont work though so the space battle will continue on lagging your game, I recommend going into Space Master mode and deleting them as well as the convoy defence ships.

Yeah that means the Script didn't load, I've had two Steam friends follow my instructions and get it working so I know it works OK on other peoples computers.

Check your pathing, that was the main issue for one of them.

Downloaded it with all the steps. Nothing like the pictures, no asteroid, no mission, no dead bodies lying, no damage. Just spawned me in a space station with 2 ships. (All mods are in the toolbar when pressing g)

Yeah I might just change it to be a LevelScript instead of a campaign and turn it into a World instead, would be 20x easier.

I spoke with someone from KEEN though recently and they said Campaign pathing would be fixed relatively soon.

I got distracted and am working on another project with someone at the moment so I'll circle back to this one, maybe stitch them together :P

Hmm not really I just start with the visual scripting guide and then pulled apart the files from the Official Campaign in the game folders to see how it all ticked by opening them in the VS program.

You can find the Official Guide in Guides, just do a search for Visual, its not very well written/informative though as KEEN have said they have only done the bare basics at the moment and will circle back around to improving it at a later day.

If you have the patience and tenacity though to keep working at it, you can make some fun stuff :D
