So I've been having an issue with the Output_log giving me an error over forty six thousand times in a single 2 hours session:

(Filename: C:/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/generated/common/runtime/DebugBindings.gen.cpp Line: 51)

FORTRESSTWEAKS: Failed to find a matching handler, TDEntry=Myrianne.MithrilBox 'Mithril Box', icon=Mithril Box mod=None Values=

Initially I thought the issue was with the Fortress Tweaks mod, but with the help of the mod author for such (Reika), they narrowed the error down to that block having a SegmentEntity, when and I quote:

"the mod is just bugged
but a block you have 5k of should not have a SegmentEntity
entities are for blocks that actively do things
what the hell are they"

So to say the least, the walls and floors of my world are alive (or are at least trying to be)

Love the mithril block. Needed something that wasn't brown, black, grey, or red for contrast against all the stone and such.

Thanks for the mod! I found an issue, though. I don't know if it's due to the mod or for another reason, but "fallen leaves" and "field" are invisible blocks. There may be more; I haven't tried them all

Should be safe to add, yes!

As for multiplayer, I honestly don't know? I've never played multi. Since it adds new block definitions to the game, I would assume everyone would need to have it, but I just can't say for sure.

Hello, this looks great! Is it safe to add on an existing save? And for multiplayer, do all player need to download the mod? Thanks in advance

@QBFreak: Thanks for the kind words! It's funny, I've been playing this on Linux for a few years now and I guess I renamed my local files and never thought to reupload them to the workshop with the corrected filenames. I'll go ahead do that now. Thanks for the heads up.

Happy to have more esthetic blocks to build with, thanks for that!

I ran into some problems trying to use this mod on my Linux dedicate server. The game cannot find mod.config because it is named Mod.Config and in Linux filenames are case sensitive. I suspect this also affects Linux clients. I'd recommend renaming it to mod.config (all lowercase) to avoid this issue. Once I did that I was able to use the mod on my Linux server.

It appears that the Space Warz Siding 1, Space column, and Plating are very much not tunnel-nuker immune. Had a corner of a building of mine all turn to soft resin when one blew up on a nearby rock outcrop. I can't speak for the rest of the blocks though, haven't tested them yet.

what is this so called "Interface" mod?
Myrianne  [ophavsmand] 23. dec. 2016 kl. 11:27
I haven't looked at that part of the code too much, but I'm gonna guess that it would be pretty difficult. I am working on an "interface" mod, though, so I'll look into it.

What I do is to have some dedicated bars, and swap things around within them as needed. In particular, I tend to make bars for logistics, power, storage (Tricky's storage hopper mod will fill up a bar pretty quick!), smelted bars, and aesthetics, and then the rest are swappable. A lot of the machines you'll place a few of and then never really mess with again unless you decide to redesign parts of your base.
strectchy52 23. dec. 2016 kl. 11:20
Its off topic but is there a way to get more hot bars as a mod, i wish i could do coding
Myrianne  [ophavsmand] 21. dec. 2016 kl. 12:54
Hmm. Well you'd still think the behavior would be similar. I'll see if I can come up with a workaround soon, so that other people don't have that problem.
dayus713 21. dec. 2016 kl. 12:52
i figured out what i did, i used the = menu to select the added blocks and that is how i could scan them i did not think to look for them in my c crafting menu my bad =/
Myrianne  [ophavsmand] 21. dec. 2016 kl. 12:40
If you're not running that mod, maybe there's something else in your game that I've not accounted for in mine. I've been testing it in single player, on stable (not bleeding edge).
Myrianne  [ophavsmand] 21. dec. 2016 kl. 12:39
Interesting. I just started up a new game with only this mod enabled, researched aesthetics, made some construction paste, and dropped down a few blocks and scanned them, and it said I already knew all of them. I didn't get RP for any.

If you're using the mod that lets you add things to your hotbar that you don't actually have instead of crafting one of each block before placing it, then that would probably cause your problem, since crafting it will make it go from "unknown" to "known."
dayus713 21. dec. 2016 kl. 8:44
you can scan each of the blocks that your mod adds for RP after you place them in the world. i was getting the unknown block detected message and i ping unknown and the aesthetic blocks lit up so i started scanning them and came up with about 1000 RP or so from a hundred unknown scans research station. i hope this clears up the misunderstanding.
Myrianne  [ophavsmand] 20. dec. 2016 kl. 23:52
Researching the "aesthetics" tech at the very beginning of the game for 5 RP should unlock ALL of the blocks for you. I'm not sure where you're getting 1000 RP from?
dayus713 20. dec. 2016 kl. 23:42
i truly love this mod there is just one thing i feel i need to say about it.
is there a way to zero the resherch points for these block because to me get over a 1000 RP from it seems a bit broken other then that tiny issue its a wonderful mod for the aesthetics types.
Myrianne  [ophavsmand] 19. dec. 2016 kl. 11:53
Yeah I'm surprised they're not in the base game, too. Also surprised nobody posted a mod before me that does this. It only took me about 15 minutes to write and didn't require any dll coding.

Thinking I might make an "immersion" version where only certain blocks are reinforced and they cost 8 or 16 like the vanilla reinforced blocks. Let me know if there's interest.

Hello, :steamhappy:

A very good Mod. I thank you for it Bro. :riotfist:

See You. :spaceburger:

Besides the fact that adding all of these makes the crafting list really long, I never really got why these weren't implimented into survival mode. Good mod man.
