@wester.velzel
Did you set the global defaults, or specific defaults by colonist?
Westerv 30 Nov, 2017 @ 7:19am
they still use normal medicine for bruises for me
Bryan=0101 9 Nov, 2017 @ 4:42pm
Read the top this is by default included in the game and is no longer needed
Ricky'Rooster'Thunderpants 9 Nov, 2017 @ 4:22pm

Barik 4 Oct, 2017 @ 12:32pm
XD 10/10 descriptions for your mods.
FlamingBlade 20 Aug, 2017 @ 10:09pm
they need to just use herbal medicine full stop unless it's past a certain severity

Eddy63 7 Jul, 2017 @ 2:09pm
best proof that your mod was awesome, thanks!
Planewalker 4 Jul, 2017 @ 4:56am
You know you've come a long way when your mods becomes defacto standard for a game.

Kudos
Naros 26 Jun, 2017 @ 8:58am
So long and thanks for all the fish~
Lt. Aldo Raine 25 Jun, 2017 @ 8:59pm
Zorba thanks for your contributions to making this game so much better and congrats on officially being added to the game yet again! Cheers to you sir!
Ake-tits 24 Jun, 2017 @ 4:12pm
same here. hats off to a great modder who scratched people's itches back when.
Rhekis 23 Jun, 2017 @ 5:42pm
Unsubscribed but I just wanted to say thanks and congrats on getting incorporated into vanilla!

@Kinjry, I've thought about it, but looking at how I micromanage doctors after a raid, I'm not sure *any* coded solution could be up to par with human micromanagement. I think the best-case scenario here is that I put a ton of work into making doctors smarter, and then people micromanage them only 80% of the time instead of 90% of the time; this does not seem like a productive thing for me to do :V

For example, when you're really minmaxing doctor behavior, you're doing stuff like waking them up in the middle of the night in order to tend an ill patient exactly on time. But if the patient doesn't need to be tended immediately, then you don't bother. I'm just not sure any code solution could really nail this, and if the code solution isn't doing it right, then it's almost worse than useless.

Tl;dr doctoring is complicated, enjoy your micromanagement
Precious Pomeranian 13 Jun, 2017 @ 6:57pm
You're doing the Rimgods work friend.

That being said, I've a request.

Midnight raid. 2-3 pawns get injured. colony doctors? Nah man, it's after hours I'm not paid for this. I'm going to bed.

I hate micromanaging doctors during after hours raids. It's super annoying when a doctor ignores his DYING WIFE in favor of catching a few Z's.

Yer good at work order mods, a god at them! Could you look into this one? It should be default behavior ffs. (sloppy tired doctor work is better than NO doctor work.)
ZorbaTHut  [author] 31 May, 2017 @ 12:54am
@Xane, probably true :D Glad you've enjoyed them!
Xane Tempest 29 May, 2017 @ 1:18pm
Although some of your mods are now 'default' in the game, I'll always remember your descriptions! If it weren't for mods like yours, the game woud no doubt not have updated in this manner ;)
Bionic Abe Lincoln 28 May, 2017 @ 7:07am
@ZorbaTHut, keep up the good work, your mods have been amazing so far. And don't stop with those descriptions you write, either. :sans:
scarlet_vermillion 27 May, 2017 @ 12:15am
I have wondered how many mods has been "eaten" by Tynan...
ZorbaTHut  [author] 26 May, 2017 @ 12:18am
@Elladel, hopefully! I've always enjoyed it, just never been able to justify the time. Been thinking about what I want to do in the next few years and maybe it includes more of that!

(maybe)
Hex: ecute Order 66 25 May, 2017 @ 11:46pm
Do mine ears decieve me? Zorba's title of "Author" is also an aspiration?
ZorbaTHut  [author] 25 May, 2017 @ 8:44pm
@Sandstome, yeah, I miss writing, I'll admit. Haven't had time lately. I'm hoping things free up in a month or two and I'll be able to start doing serious writing :)
Bionic Abe Lincoln 25 May, 2017 @ 11:40am
@Elladel - Nothing sad about it, it means that Zorba's mods are so good that the developer acknowledged the game needs them as standard features. That's pretty awesome.
Hex: ecute Order 66 25 May, 2017 @ 5:43am
I was going to write about how sad it is that such a great modder has had their work made redundant... then I read that you were actually the person intergrating this stuff into Rimworld!
WOO, go Zorba!
Sandstome 24 May, 2017 @ 6:03pm
@ZorbaTHut, can you just take over all of the writing then? As great as your mods are these descriptions still make me laugh :steamhappy:
Derpino 6 May, 2017 @ 8:25am
Sounds like a dream job
ZorbaTHut  [author] 6 May, 2017 @ 8:10am
@Wishmaster, it has! I actually did it myself - I'm a full-time employee at Ludeon at the moment :)
Derpino 5 May, 2017 @ 3:38pm
has your mod actually been integrated to A17 ? well done !
NotFox 29 Apr, 2017 @ 3:15pm
I want a mod that makes it so that doctors will only use glitter meds on dieseases, infections, and operations.
WackyPiet 12 Apr, 2017 @ 9:40am
the mod is awesome as the flavour text on all of your mods :steamhappy:
Huevo Podrido 11 Apr, 2017 @ 8:34am
Dialog is flavour, please don't ever stop :|
MMD 4 Apr, 2017 @ 6:53pm
in love with Zoya, loveable person s2
ZorbaTHut  [author] 3 Apr, 2017 @ 7:35am
@LucidiousGibs, yes
WimRorld 3 Apr, 2017 @ 6:59am
Oh, and you could simply skip down to the bottom...
WimRorld 3 Apr, 2017 @ 6:56am
Obviously this guy doesn't understand "RimWorld humour"...
helldwarf 3 Apr, 2017 @ 5:58am
A-annoying?! Who in the 13 hells are you?!
Gibs 3 Apr, 2017 @ 5:35am
does every mod really need annoying dialog before the actual description
Errorsnake 29 Mar, 2017 @ 8:42am
I like Zoya :D
WimRorld 25 Mar, 2017 @ 10:40am
Thanks for the mod! Now, it'd be interesting to see a mod that'll automatically pick the medicine depending on the wound type. Example would be that doctors will take herbal for your basic bites and bruises, but would take medicine for severe gunshots, cracked bones, or almost destroyed limbs (unless their permanent injuries like getting shot in the eyes >_>).
Slaunyeh 24 Mar, 2017 @ 4:53am
ok it s fair
ZorbaTHut  [author] 21 Mar, 2017 @ 11:54am
@Slaunyeh, I actually don't have a lot of time available for modding right now, I'm afraid. My general approach with food is that prisoners end up leaving or being converted, and so I don't mind them eating whatever; animals aren't smart enough to recognize food restrictions anyway, so they just have to be zoned away from the food they're supposed to avoid; and if I'm hand-feeding animals, then something's gone wrong and I should fix it. I've never really felt the need for more direct food management :)

You could try posting a request on the Rimworld forums or Rimworld discord!
Slaunyeh 20 Mar, 2017 @ 6:33pm
Your mod is really usefull and entered my infame roll of favorite list.
Now since you are so much more skilled than me, which is not hard a all i have a request for a mod:
"Stay away from my food" I tired to see colonist feeding fine meals to rabbits and squirrels, or even prisoners that i will release because they have no usefullness and my critters eating Pemnicans... It would work exactly like this mod. The player decide who can eat what.
And if you do it don t forget to create a smart silly tale about it... your kind of humour is rare and most welcome.
ZorbaTHut  [author] 14 Mar, 2017 @ 3:01pm
@Deviette, there's some bug I haven't managed to find. Unfortunately I also haven't had time to look into it in depth :/ The character initialization code is complicated and hard to decipher, there's a lot of ways it can trigger and I clearly haven't found all of them.
Deviette 14 Mar, 2017 @ 7:44am
Finding this annoying that when I rescue someone from a pod that they are set to no medicine as default even though I've changed the defaults on the tab, I've lost 2 people this way and it's kinda frustrating
Skye Is Tired 12 Mar, 2017 @ 10:30am
Hey Zorba, when I try to heal up wild animals, they're set to no healing by default and there's no tab for me to change wild animal healing. In case you didn't know, if an animal is downed, you can choose to rescue it and patch it up. Normally if you rescue them then there is healing for them, would you mind looking into adding wild animals into your list thing?
ZorbaTHut  [author] 8 Mar, 2017 @ 10:06am
@Cydira, not easily on either of our parts, I'm afraid. I don't use that mod and aren't likely to; unless they decide they really want the feature, I suspect it just won't happen.
Cydira 8 Mar, 2017 @ 9:40am
Any way your awesome mod can update on the birth of a new colonist (from the Children and Pregnancy mod)? Thanks for making this!
Bobucles 4 Mar, 2017 @ 8:26am
Is it possible to set defaults for surgery? It's a bit annoying for the doc to reach for the herbal medicine when only the best is right for the operating table.
helldwarf 3 Mar, 2017 @ 2:27pm
@Stacros, One thing you can do is add medicne efficency in the custom starts.
Stavros 3 Mar, 2017 @ 2:25pm
@helldwarf will go have a look and see if it has been been posted before
the only guys that start with glitterworld with this mod is the guys you rescue and want to join i think.
helldwarf 3 Mar, 2017 @ 1:47pm
@Stavros, as mentioned earlier you can go on the ludeon forums or Rimworld discord and look for the modding section, posting your idea there. You are not the first person to have it either.
