News for WH 2 version ?

@Nightscales I've only glanced at the TWW2 files, but the system behind the backgrounds is a bit different, on account of them being animated, I'm looking into it, but it might not be possible.

It's disheartening there's no such mod uploaded for the game's 2nd installment. Any plans for that, Voice?

@af17317596 was this problem ever resolved for you? I don’t have much of an idea of what could be causing an issue like that, aside from your internet connection, which I assume isn't the issue.

Other than that, does anyone who reads this have any ideas as to what I could use for the upcoming Norsca DLC? Presumably it'll have a background, but my scouting around thus far hasn't uncovered any relevant results.

mod won't load just shows a blank load bar?

@The happy halloween dragon Can you not change the background with the arrows at the bottom of the menu? If not I've no idea what could be causing it.

Dude i think your mod "lag", since months i'm blocked with the last background.. So i uninstall and re install it and i'm with the same last background, is there a solution ?

@LEGO I'm not sure I'm having the same res issues as you? How bad is it? Bear in mind some of the images had to be dramatically up-resed due to their original resolutions, which is never going to look perfect. As for Blood for the Blood God, there simply was no relevant image I could find that had appropriate resolution and proportion, if you have a suggestion I'd be more than willing to hear you out.

Some of these backgrounds look really low-res in the game, also some of them don't really fit the theme of the update they represent, e.g. "Blood for the Blood God" has Blood Knights, but you changed it to Archaon, for some reason.

@gleen_cross at the base the main UI panel there should be two arrows that you can use to navigate through the backgrounds. The background wont change unless you do this.

One question... With this mod, the game is supposed to change backgroundS after every launch? I restarted the game a couple of times, but the background remains "stucked" with the cavalry artwork (last screeshot). Maybe a conflict with SFO?

Hey 1. Fallschirmjäger-Division, I'm not sure what you'd like me to do? I can only do as many front-end menu artworks as exist in the game, if you are looking for more varied and loading screen artwork I’d suggest the Improved Loading Screen Artwork! mod. That’s what I use.

@Nightscoming There are small arrows at the very bottom of the menu, you should be able to change the backgrounds there, if you don't have all the DLC you wont see all of them mind you.

Update is out guys! Let me know if anything isnt working, I'll admit as simple as this is, I'm still not super confident. It took me several hours of updating the wrong file before I worked out what I was doing wrong so, anything could happen at this point. Enjoy!

I figured your mod covered the menu images while the other took care of the loading screens - but maybe those are the same thing.

@Sinbuster, it might, I don't know why you would want to use both, and there will probably be some kind of conflict as they modify some of the same files. You can certainly give it a shot though.

Sorry Nagash, I can certainly up the resolution on the pictures to accommodate your monitor, it'll be a while though, as I've gone on Christmas break and do not have access to Photoshop. It also might not look as good as it could as the original images weren’t that large in most cases.

Whats the res on the pictures ? have a 3440x1440 monitor.... fack me

They replace the menu backgrounds that are added by the DLC. You select whichever one you likw with the arrorws at the bottom of the menu.

Is these backgrounds randomized when you start the game?

Wow! The mod got on most Popular Items in the past week, I did not expect that, but I'm super glad that people are enjoying it. I'm hopefully going to be able to keep this updated for future DLC's. My only gripe with the mod currently is the Blood for the Blood God background, while its certainly great art I don't think that it gels well with the style of the others, if any of you guys have a better idea be sure to let me know!
