" WARNING: Make a back-up save or two before installing this mod. I don't want to be blamed for what might happen because of some stupid technical problem." way make the mod so that there can't be any promlem?
Even without the spell known, with the active effect still active the townspeople still treat me with fear. However, opening the console, clicking on my character and then typing in the command 'dispelallspells' and hitting enter did get rid of the active effect and solved the problem.
In order to do this, you must type [help "<insert effect name here>"] in the console (without the brackets, but with the quotes around the effect name). The console will output a list of all the references to the effect. Search through the results, ignoring the magic effects, and find the spell with that name. It should be accompanied by a series of numbers and letters. Finally, type [player.removespell <insert spell ID here>] in the console. This should manually remove the spell effect from your character. I hope this works for you, and if you have any additional questions, please let me know. Thanks again for bringing this to my attention, and I hope you enjoy the mod!
In active powers it still shows 4 cases of the appropriate buff (I forget its name off the top of my head) with a duration in the 40-thousand hour range if I recall correctly.
It sounds like the buff is not being removed correctly when the raised creatures die, hence why the townspeople are still treating me as if I have an army of revived Enslaved Dremoras from your dungeon following me around.
If you know of a console command that would allow me to remove the effect manually, I could do so to confirm or deny whether the NPC's reactions are linked to the buff or something else which isn't apparent.
Otherwise this was quite a good mod, definately one of the more challenging mods I've seen! Thanks for making it!
I have just begun work on a new mod that will recreate the Molten Core raid dungeon from World of Warcraft in Skyrim. I intend for it to be a challenging low 60s dungeon, as it is in its original form in WOW. You can expect lots of fire and lava, and lots of epic encounters. However, you will need to have the Dawnguard expansion installed in order to play this mod. I hope to be finished with it soon. Wish me luck!
dextonl: It is entirely possible to become level 81 legitimately. That is the current maximum level in Skyrim and can be reached by increasing all of your character's skills to 100. All that is required is a lot of time.
For those of you who subscribed to the mod in the few moments after it was published, you may have a bug with the portal pillars that should allow you to leave the dungeon. I just now released an update that should hopefully fix that problem.
Thanks to all who come and try out this mod in the future! I had a lot of fun making it and I hope you have a lot of fun playing it.
