davoodinator, I find this galaxy type interesting, however I noticed that the warplanes between areas were red, and were not able to be traversed. Is it set to a time limit, or is there a technology that needs to be researched before you can go through? I appreciate any insight you can provide. Thank you.

Hey some of them are darn good little researchers, and with the 5X mod you can boost them quitet a bit farther.

i belive its set in pigeon hole style.

one cluster has all the monsters

another has all of the minor civs

I happen to REALLY like the size and layout of your 454 galaxy. (Even though it really makes 25-35 stars per cluster) I played with the colossal cluster from another author and on my laptop it was just too big (about 75-90 stars per) By turn 500 each turn took 3 min to process... At 700 (where I'd set it to end) the turns were up to 5 min... Yours ends up at about the right size for a long but playable game on that laptop. I only really noticed the extra monsters when i tried a 90 size map and was completely surrounded by them... You did good work Davoodinator, I just didn't expect the monsters.

anyways. feel free to edit my .yaml files. its pretty simple stuff. then giev me some kudos and go publish your "differently harder and longer" version! who knows . maybe you will discover something new and we will learn. community projects are the best

expanding easily early means shorter game. what i really want is to be able to create more than 1 tier of locked starlanes and more than 9 clusters. then i can stage clusters as you progress and eventually you will meet the other races @ turn 2000 or so. but my masochistic dreams can't be realized until there is more functionality added to the modding framework.

Eh... ok, I can see that, for longer games i normaly went to a bigger map with more opponets...

I noticed an odd issue when using your mod, i get an unreal number of space monsters... about 1/3 to 1/2 of the systems will have a monster in them...in a 454 is not TOO big a deal i can build around them till i can take them out, but on the smaller sizes there are very few decent worlds i can access until i can build up a fleet to kill them... I ended up just turning off the monsters to run a play through.
i also use the gravistar / 6 planet mod, 5x mod and a few tech mods... i don't have the problem with a stock galaxy of other galaxy mods.

Hello! When I activate your mod the game freezes upon world creation, you know, the bar fills up and stays there, even when creating a 9-star galaxy. What do?

Just FYI: I tried all of the galaxy options and each one hangs with a full progress bar when creating the game (I've even waited up to ten minutes for it to create). I'm on my Mac if that makes a difference, and I have Spud's mod enabled as well as harder Orion Guardian. I'll try on my PC later and post if that works.

Is this supposed to be a new map for the game from the given ones to select when you are start or is this just an attachment to the random seed generator so when you start a new game this file is implemented into it to give us a unqiue map?
