Too bad Real Guns can't be coded in as a separate weapon type. I too have found that wands are the only closest way to implement a gun in dredmor.

Guns are considered wands.

So are the Guns considered wands(Gunwands), Crossbows(Cbowguns) or Melee Weapons that look like Guns?

my suggestions:

more basic guns (uzi, g36c, mossburg 500, usp, m24,)

dubstep gun (plays a midi clipit of a random dubstep song with every time you fire)

bfg (UBER expencive but worth it)

net launcher (were like the hijackers, DOODS!) 25% chance capturing

pokeball launcher (your my bestfriend, in this world we- and you died again.) higher chance then net launcher

tesla rifle, zip guns, bamboo claws and ripper ( whodoo YOUR voodoo?)

I meant lockpick skills. =p

Thats simple. When you shoot a lockpick you peirce the enemys brain and when you use a bullet on a door you are just shooting the lock

Because I couldn't specify, as far as I know, what item to consume. lockpick consuming works because lockpicks are the only item in the misc catagory.
If I would add bullets to the misc catagory, you will sometimes consume a lockpick instead of a bullet, and a bullet instead of a lockpick.

And that doesn't make any sense. :-(

I need to correct myself, there is a bullet, but you should not be able to see it on floor 1. The bullet is small and grey, thus, my title isn't exactly right.

1. Get your gun. (In game of course, don't try this IRL kids!)

4. Watch your bullet fly to the enemy!

Hobo launcher: 30 poison damage to all living things (AKA monsters)
Pickle?: 90 putrid 10 crushing
Blobby ray: 50 putrid 1 everything else (if possible) 20% chance of turning monsters into friendly blobbies
Hell's depths: 100 conflagatory 10 Asphyxiative
