I do not doubt the work in which the creator or the young cosplayers put into designing this poster, but I firmly hold that we must do what is just by the work of art called Dota 2 and their original artists and be responsible; let us not, however tempting it may be, to sully the relatively ancient and otherworldly motif by our own personal fancies as fans and compromise the identity of the characters or their environments by what is mockingly humorous, lustfully attractive, or any other reason other than it befits the world of Dota and the complex creatures within it, lest we convert the game into something less of a beautiful ancient epic and into a mixed-media collage of pop-culture references, silly costumes, and skimpy outfits at which Summoners gawk and guffaw at. Let us do the old creators justice.

As lovely as the young ladies are, I believe we should take into deep consideration the artistic theme that Dota 2 has for the longest while held which, I believe, though many contemporaries wouldn't deign to care about, is very important to the sanctity Dota 2 not only as a game, but an immersive work of art once rich with story and environment. Nearly every loading screen thus far has adhered to this theme at least standardly (save for that of the latest Ember Spirit skin), and has thus worked its best to keep its ties with the world the designers had deliberately once created. The team behind the design of the game has placed a great responsibility in our hands as common players to in part determine in which artistic direction the appearance of the characters within the world inside the game and the media surrounding it, such as music and loading screens, shall go: a responsibility which we who must care for every facet of this story we play must in no terms take lightly.
