@Hippye --- Could we please please get this little change to the mod so that the AMS and Khalia have NVG and TI again, as TwoCanoe described. Thank you

Thanks Zy, probably you are correct, but I'm on a halt for anything Arma 3 related. So will take a while to make the correction.

I think you may have missed adding "A3_Weapons_F_Mark_Acc" to requiredaddons[] in your config.bin. Both mentioned scopes, that are not working, are from Marksman DLC and you only added vanilla assets to your requiredaddons, so the mod might be ignoring patches you've made to AMS and Khalia. Just saying.. :)

Tried out your A3CN Scopes mod. NV and TI work for AMS and Khalia with that mod.

So I will use that mod instead.

Tried again with this version and no other mods loaded.

Started up VR Arsenal. No NV or TI for the AMS or Kahlia scopes

I just tested with the workshop version and they are all working with NV and Ti. The configs are all in the right place.

The vanilla scopes, DMS, SOS and LRPS work. AMS and Khalia (Marksmen DLC) do not have NV or TI.

The vanilla scopes are classes in "A3_Weapons_F_Acc" and you have that in the required addons and thats why they work.

The DLC scopes are classes in "A3_Weapons_F_Mark_Acc" and you do not have that included in required addons, thats why they don't and won't work.

You may have patched them (for DLC scopes) already in another addon/pbo you use. That would explain why you get them to work for you.

Start Arma 3 with this mod (and no other mods), go to the editor and open the Config Viewer and check out the optics modes for the AMS and the Khalia.

You will see (for the AMS and KMS):

visionMode[] = {"Normal"};

For the DMS, SOS and LRPS you will see:

visionMode[] = {"Normal","NVG","Ti"};

Wich ones did you tried? Because in my tests the AMS, Khalia, DMS, SOS and LRPS all have the NV and the TI capability. Besides I play with this mod almost every night and uses those scopes in the game.

Hippye, the DLC scopes don't have NV or TI capability. The cfgPatches does not include the DLC config.
The cfgPatches requires the line:

requiredaddons[] = {"A3_Weapons_F_Acc","A3_Weapons_F_Mark_Acc"};

I tried to find out what's wrong but I went to your workshop and installed the "A3CN Scopes" mod that you made. Interestingly enough, the Night Vision / Thermal works for the Marksmen scopes but not this mod.

Huh, not sure what's wrong then. I decided to disable every mod except for this one thinking it was a compatibility issue but it still didn't work for the AMS or Kahalia. It only seems to works for the vanilla scopes (DMS, LRPS, etc.), maybe it's an issue with my game but that's unfortunate

Nice mod. Would be cool though if you could make a version where the night vision on scopes are turned on ONLY if you have your night vision goggles turned on.
