I'm gonna let myself out now.
I think the model is a little flat, at the moment, and the texture feels more like cardboard than wood. A rounded handle (like a signpost) would do wonders for improving the depth of the weapon.
I think this would be a great Volcano fragment reskin.
The textures overall just need work. I suggest this as a reference on how to do that weathered, splintered, scorched board texture, though I also recommend this .
The charred bits look very superficially painted on. It seems like it needs more of a red orange element interspersed.
I rather like the nails, but I think the boards themselves could be improved both in their shape and as a handle.
