Hey all, I know I've been relatively quiet on the mod but it is my intent to update it to include all new flags added in. I can't give an ETA though as I'm time poor at the moment.

Currently while it says the the mod is outdated it will work with current versions (at least testing on my end). The only downside is that it won't include flags added after my last update.

@ChaffyExpert the current Japanese flag was used by Imperial Japan during ww2 the one with the rays was only used by the navy.

@Emperor Palpatinate Hey dingus, maybe if you could read the description and have some history knowledge before lashing out at the mod creator you'd know. He even gave a description on why it wasn't in the mod.

Q:Why is Japan not using the rising sun flag?
A: The reason the current fascist flag is the Hinomaru (sun disk flag) is because that is what the state used until the end of WW2. The Rising Sun flag is officially the Imperial Japanese Navy and the Imperial Japanese Army's flag with the IJA having their sun disk centred instead but was never used on a state level. For this mod, it focuses on using historical state and national flags hence why I am not using the Rising Sun Flag.

Funny how all the flags are accurate, except for Japan, which has the imperial flag in HOI4 vanilla but the current Japanese flag in this.

@虫合君 The reason for that is because I am using the flag of the Paneuropean Union, I suppose what you could say is a predecessor to the European Union. Figured it would be better suited for a single EU given the flag had been around since 1923 at the 1936 start.

Why does the Democratic European Union Flag have a Scandinavian cross on it? The decision does not require those area...

Thanks! That indeed fixed them.

I've updated it to be compatible with Version 1.12.3 of HOI4 and I should have fixed up the flag glitches for Australia and New Zealand hopefully

Can you make a fascist flag for Mexico? Seeing the party flag replace being used just looks odd to me.

What flags are used for the Imperial Federation with Britain? Has the awful neutral/monarchy flag been changed?

@CrudeCardinal please refer to the FAQ for an answer to that question but the short answer is no

Ok I figured it out, I kept using the wrong files. This fix will be put in and I think that should fix that error once and for all. Thank you for your help Gorgo

@Gorgo Primus This is so odd, I keep going back to the flags to fix them up but I must have missed something again.

@LooseSeal I'll see if I can test both out. I have a hunch that the MI2 unit skins might be clashing with the flag mod

It doesn't seem to be displaying Germany's flag for me anymore either and I'm not using the Road to 56 mod, only the MI2 unit skin ones.

For some reason this mod no longer displays Germany's historical flag while using road to 56 mod. It worked in the previous versions. Not sure about any of the other flags.

Ok I've manged to get the motivation to work on this project again and I apologise for the long delay. The newest version I have uploaded should have new updates for existing bad designs, add more accurate designs to newer releasable nations added by paradox as well as add new flag designs for most of the formable nations you can make.
