Hi, i have this problem: I built the ancient laboratory and is ramp, but my characters can´t enter, its like invisible walls in the entrances of the lab, pls help

i just wanna know if it still works?? cant find any simple mods that i can build a few extra bigger buildings.. all the others change to much stuff or has 50,000 buildings that i dont wanna sift through, this mod sounds perfect... dont even care if all plan features arent added... just that it works lol

*2022 EDIT*: This might be a bit too personal for a mod description, but my personal situation has not been so great since 2020, and atm it's looking like I may never get the chance to update this mod again.

If people want to re-upload this mod/edit it for their own ends, be well and go wild.

I also wanted to say thank you to all the people that subbed/enjoyed these, and all the folks that tried to help me re-source the files and reported bugs. I really loved that other people enjoyed my weird little morsels of content for what I think is the best sandbox ever made.

@ MGJ Here I fixed it I wrote one part wrong was not intended. It sucks that the files were lost. Is it possible to remake the mod from scratch? I know it would take time to redo it. That way you could get all of the stuff in that you wanted to.

Update on my Kenshi Mods for 2021 - Its been a while. Setting aside the obvious thing that happened to everyone, I really still wanted to come back and fix these up, but I seem to have lost the original files.

If anyone is aware of a way I can access these again let me know and I can fix these up soon, and finish the things I wanted to add.

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who has enjoyed these mods :) I made them for myself really, and love the idea that other people might get a kick out of them also.

Could we get the blueprint in vendor chance lowered? I'm finding a few in just about every vendor I go to shop in and it's messin with my blueprint collector vibes when I have more of a chance of seeing mod blueprints than anything else :P

Anoxia - This mod isnt a combo of other mods, its a very old mod I made back when the new map had first been released but before any other quandrants had been revealed, so its my very simplistic way - at the time - of putting all available structures I could find in the construction set into the game in some way. I have no idea why the speed of mining would decrease though, I appreciate the heads up. It could be a relic of me tinkering back in the day that I didnt pick up on.

This mod will cause the speed of mining to decrease, which is about three times slower than the state without mod. The reason for this problem is not clear. This mod is still a combination with other mods. In short, if you find that your mining speed suddenly becomes very slow and slow, you can try to remove this mod.

And for those who have dismantling problems, just press shift+F12, select the building you can't dismantle ingame, and delete it =).

might be beating a dead horse, and i know you made this for yourself and decided to share it (thank you!!!!) but is there a way in which swamp/other buildings can be dismantled? im very illiterate about modding lol but is it an issue with the engine?

I really like this mod. But Actually I cant dismantle the Swamp architecture. Also it would be nice, if I could build interiors on the Swamplplatforms.
Also is there a way to connect the Swampplatforms?

Some of the materials costs are unblanced and clash with flavor. Like requiring nothing but building material for the metal-walled house. And I rather liked how a similar building mod used rotten meat, animal skins, and meat to make hive huts rather than building material.

There are new buildings added to the game now. Could you please test and add them. Some of them are really massive! I wanted to make the mod myself, but since I saw you already are working on it I don't see a reason to reinvent the wheel.

Ancient labs and Citadel one of the best in my opinion, they fits perfect for an outposts role, if you planning expansion. 3 floors, a lot of space, high elevation. But, the biggest problem - you can't build turrets on it outer side, inside - yes (why would you build turret inside anyway). It doesn't even have snap points for turrets. Sad, was downloading this mod exactly cuz of Ancient buildings. Seems like i have to stick with a basic watchtower.

If steam doesn't let you update your mod then just create a new mod and rename this to [outdated] or something like that. It's a known steam bug that doesn't update things you tell it to update. Thanks for the mod.

Excellent mod, thanks. Possible issue; I successfully placed a Drifter Watchtower, saw the option to downgrade, clicked, and immediately got a CTD. I figure it was prolly stupid to try in first place as the Ruined Watchtower isn't an option to build, but can you add it so it doesn't crash? I like planning layouts and building ruined buildings is the cheapest way to do this without wasting too much engineering time while other structures have to take priority. While I'm asking; can you add the ruined versions of others (e.g. Snailhouse) as well?

could it be possible if you make a custom building set that would be skyscapers.a city theme mainly urban building? i know i might be asking to much but if you could do or know any modder that can make this possible i think a city urban building set would fit with kenshi. i want a huge sky scraper.

@Rauthr I've got a few unexpected things on today irl so I can't spend as much time as I'd like at this moment testing it out, so for now I've lowered the cost of the Ancient Lab to 1 bm for testing :)

Tried to go through with building it, but char can't reach the spot to build from without the ramp so you NEED to place it in the planning.

Can't place the ramp for the Ancient Lab while planning, and since it takes 400 building mats I'm not inclined to test if it works once built. Can anyone confirm it working? It just complains "Too close to another building" when I try it.
