This is strictly a collection of assets that I have done, or of assets of mine that have been retextured by others (not every asset though, since I didn't want to include assets that would be unrealistic). Other people have created more comprehensive airport asset collections, for example the three FBS collections.

Hey this is a great collection, thank you for the tons and tons of props and other assets, and thanks for collecting them all. I was wondering what you thought of MobiusOne's networks to widen the runways and add blast shoulders and service roads, and if they'd warrant inclusion in this collection to make them more findable.

If you haven't seen them, MULAG manufactures ULD transporters, the Pulsar 7 and 14. Goldhofer/Schopf Makes the large AST-1 X towbarless-pushback used for A380 etc, or you have Kalmar Motor AB, who makes the TBL-190 towbarless-pushback for planes larger and up too the A330, the TBL-180 for planes like the A340,767, 757 and down, TBL-50 for planes like the CRJ, AT7, DH8, ERJ

@Essad I think those are called ULD wagons? I'm not exactly sure... I do plan on making some, but not for a while, since I am working on another project. The ULD transporter looks sort of like the pallet loader, except it's all one level and doesn't raise up - I couldn't find any really good references for one though.

ahh sry my mistake, thought the little wagons that are used for transporting the containers to the aircraft (like luggage carts but for containers) was also called ULD loader. But is that what you call ULD transport?

@Essad It has already been uploaded. It's the Airport Cargo Pallet Loader (that's what they are technically called).

Was about to ask for an ULD loader and saw you're working on one, thats so great :) do you have any approx eta (like is it days or weeks from completion)?

@Blackwolf Only the prefabs for large aircraft incline towards the aircraft. This is because they are all based at 3m rotunda floor, which is the standard for one of the airports that I was working on... Most airports throughout the world use 4m rotunda floor - I was going to make prefabs for those at some point. Even with a 4m rotunda floor, the jetbridges will probably still incline or be level for aircraft such as the 747, A380, A350, 787, etc. The problem with 4m rotunda heights, is that they are too tall to service regional jets (ERJ-135/145 and CRJs). In the end, it depends on the aircraft, and you can't really generalize the configurations.
And of course all of the ground level ones incline, but that reason should be obvious.

I love this collection so great for making nice airports! I do have one question/annoyance though which is why do your prefab jetbridges incline towards the aircraft rather than decline? Most airports in the world you walk downwards to the aircraft.

@orangepunkins Then the 747 asset you are using is not 1:1 scale (I was a bit annoyed when I realized that while I was making the assets). The 767 door sill height is 4-4.5m and the 747 door sill height is 4.5-5.5m. I'm not going to make an asset for an aircraft that isn't 1:1 scale, sorry about that.

@HavoKForce That's a vehicle though, and not a prop. It's very unlikely that a vehicle would ever be useful, since they only spawn in the game in response to fires. Also, and airport fire truck responding to a house fire would be odd...

vasimr22 thanks for your work, i appreciate the effort. currently i'm using the (i think) vanille blinking lights (red and orange) for my taxiways, to light them up. maybe that is an option to modify those assets with a more realistic "housing"

roth-dennis, that would not be possible. The way the lights are lighting up is through an illumination texture, which currently sets the lenses to be fully illuminated with glow. So they can't be made brighter. In terms of making them props, I did originally try that, however, the illumination was very weak (possibly ignored). With the current state of the game, that's the best that can be done. Though if someone were to make a mod that added color flood lights of varying intensity, then I would go back and remake them with those.

would it be possible, to make prop versions of the pavement lights? that way, we could place them with the PLT. i also think, they should be a little brighter.

Thank you for this nice collection of assets. I just need one thing to be happy now, which is an airport firetruck, would be cool to see one in the woekshop, since there are no ones you can use as an alternative.

Thanks! I was considering making module terminals. I guess I sort of have to since the ones on the workshop all come with jetbridges.
