Is there a way to access ur wh1 mods without reinstalling wh1. i have a ssd with low memory so I cant really redownload wh1

Hmm, if it says it's hidden then I probably can't share it directly, But all I had to do is move both the mod and the mod's image file from Steam\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER\data to Steam\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER II\data, and the mod should show uo in your mods, it is compatabile, but if you want the warning to go away you can upload it. Just pls don't make that upload public, and y'know, don't pass the mod off as your own work, be courteous.

Link to WH2 says its hidden or something.
The WH2 workshop has been down since a couple hours after release day i kinda figured it would be back up by now. Very Hard is a great deal more difficult then WH1

This is where the version for WH2 is, thanks for reminding me, I tested it, it works. let me know if just subscribing to the mod here doesn't work.

Is there a way to port this over to WH2 or do you have a WH2 version?
the penalties on vh are atrocious and I cant figure out how to navigate the game files unlike Paradox games i play with

You can easily do that yourself with Packfilemanager, open up my mod with it and you'll see the relevant variables that need to change.

also would be nice to just reduce the upkeep, instead of just removing it. maybe from 15%(on vh+) to 10 or 12%.

Actually, I'm not entirely sure if the AI does have that additional upkeep.
good fighter 29 Sep, 2017 @ 6:57am
does this affect AI? or does ai not have the additonal upkeep to begin with?

Should still work, depends on what other mods you have installed.
af17317596 17 Sep, 2017 @ 3:42pm

Apparently either they changed something fundamental in how this system works, or I was seeing things when I tested this, either way apparently it doesn't work in the way I thought it worked, and so I regretfully say that I'll probably be taking this down seeing as how it doesn't work.
lstanley93  [author] 27 Dec, 2016 @ 12:38pm
Hmm, interesting, I'll look into it.

Something interesting I noticed while playing a VC campaign. When enlisting a new general, I did not recieve the warning of increased expenditure, but the percentages still went up. The only reason I noticed this was I know the individual upkeep levels and saw the numbers going up. Might have something to do with the WE addition, not sure. Haven't tested this for anyone else.

Works fine for me, I don't have wood elves though, so I can't test for wood elves. Also see below it doesn't stop the upkeep increasing for generals. But it does stop the factionwide upkeep from increasing.

doesnt work for me :( only mod that was on and still didnt work

Great mod! works perfectly.
lstanley93  [author] 30 Nov, 2016 @ 10:17pm
Oh you're talking about the increasing upkeep the general by itself makes, ok, no I haven't found how to change that. This only eliminates the I believe 2 additonal % upkeep factionwide per general, it does not stop the upkeep for the generals themselves from increasing, cause frankly I don't know how to do that yet. I've tested it, it does work, but only so far as removing the global event effect that affects all of your upkeep.
Kitube 30 Nov, 2016 @ 6:25pm
anyone else used this and it worked?
peter.hefner 28 Nov, 2016 @ 1:43am
Sorry, it do not work
