Hey, I'm going to guess you aren't really active with this mod anymore. This was one of the first mods I downloaded and absolutely fell in love. It's just so perfect. I came back to revisit the nostalgia but every time I arrive at the lodge the game crashes. Any way to fix this? Also I can't hear the Fable music anymore! At the very least could you take the video off of private so I can relive my good old feelings one last time? It would mean more than anything to me.

Found the boat after installing a second time, then game crashed. Re-installed again; no boat! Uninstalling permamently. Guess I'll just have to find me a new home :-))

Im having the same problem as the person below me.

I downloaded it but i seem to have a bit of a problem, whenever i enter the winter lodge area my game closes for some reason, you wouldn't happen to know how to fix this would you ? (I haven't done the quest you mentioned and wasn't aware there was one, could that be whats causing it ?)

@un, dos tres.... If the mod has updated automatically since I edited the .esp, then there is a small quest you have to do to obtain the house. You should recieve a note from a courier and the quest will start.

Is GIMP free. I don't mean a trial. Is the entire program free?

@ichiwillliberty You can use alote of programs for texturing, The two most common are Adobe PhotoShop and Gimp.

*I'll check the one you mentioned. UK? my ancestors are irish and german. I used google earth to find Tyrone, Ireland (where there from). There's a HUGE house there and a black dog. A setter maybe? My mind wanders...That's why I like christmas. Temporary separation from disappointing reality. :)

@ichwillliberty I used G.I.M.P for the retexturing, it's free so i'm okay with that. I haven't actually had alot of experience editing meshes in blender and 3dsmax yet though.

@ creator- what program do you use for the retexture and is it free? 3dsmax enables weapon/text change but its 3 grand. insane.

For a small house you did an Amazing job. Awesome.

@ creator-ok. that would be awesome. Maybe a quest involving santa clause. My problem with retexture and weapon changes (in design) is the programs that run it are about 3 grand. too rich for my blood.

@DeathGear Make sure the plugin is active under Data Files in the Skyrim Launcher. There will be a boat in Dawnstar which takes you to the island. You CANNOT Travel there on foot as it is in a different worldspace.

Uh My map marker pointed to a spot in the middle of the ocean west of dawnstar. Nothing was there of course.

@ichwillliberty I was going to think about doing that, but since this is only a small project, and I am working on much bigger ones at tehe same time, I decided not to, however, there will eventually be an update in which I will try to incorperate some of those things, as well as adding a quest or something.

This is amazing. I'm trying to make something similar but its hard and i dont have 3dsmax (wanted to make christmas ornaments). I like detail. so if you have something similar could you add christmas tree ball (red, blue, etc.). And foods (ginger bread people, ginger house)? It's just a request. I'm not going to get negative about it like some people.
